DrLockdown

Greetings Cybertronians! I think an updated introduction is in order! I'm Doctor Lockdown, AKA Estelle. Aussie transfemme Transformers fan, who does awful toy reviews on da Youtubes (and sometimes other things). Ten years on, and I still have no clue what I'm doing.

That was a close one: this episode almost got cancelled because I ran into a power outage right as the recording concluded. But thankfully it lives, because I'm really happy with this episode. Oh, right; brand new OVA Hell is out. Black Magic M66. Go have a listen. youtu.be/jus8Z0J6bmw

Filming has finally commenced on AOTP Armada Jetfire. Audio is also 100% edited, so we're on track for a 1st of November release. Thus, the first Preview Gallery is up. More deets in the coming days too. www.patreon.com/drlockdown/p...

LIVE NOW! HEAD ON OVER!

Tomorrow. For real this time. Be there. For the Pokemanz.

EB Games' 'buy one get one free' sale has been very fruitful. Essentially four half price leaders is really sweet. Need to mess with them more tho. Haven't had time yet. Busy working and editing.

Still love this beast. THIS is how you do a double homage. Just wish the instructions were betterr, because everyone seems to think his chest doesn't peg in properly. Can't wait for MW Starscream. Day one purchase for me.

Today's a special day. Today, years ago, I made a promise to stop repressing. To finally start listening to the message over and over in my head, that I was trans, and that I deserved to make decisions in my life that would help me move forward. The day I chose to be Estelle.

Okay, better now, and ready to ACTUALLY get back to streaming. See y'all next Monday (or Sunday, depending on the timezone).

Did some painting while I was sick. Took the 3D printed Vector Prime leg pods and fixed the missing bronze highlights. Not a perfect match, and god dayum this bronze was hard to work with, but ultimately worth it I'd say. Surprisingly, I can paint. I just would rather not.

This moment WRECKED ME on watch. TV glow did nothing when I first watched it, but I just know Bunlith Episode 2 would've shattered my egg so hard had I still beenvin denial.

Enjoying my time off with some 3DS gaming. I may have...uh...forcefemmed an eevee...with a hex editor...

Well, them go the perils of working retail and being around the public for tonnes. Ya girl is sick again, so tomorrow's HeartGold stream is postponed a week. Video production will also pause while I get some sleep. Sorry for those excited for AOTP Jetfire, but imma rest.

Crack avatar theory. Pavi and Nisha are from parallel universes. The spirit world connects them. The white lotus brought them across to fix the world.

Bnuy

Know I've been silent, but the next video has finally been fully scripted and recorded. Yeah, quite behind, but its a big one. I know it'll be worth it.

They took it off their Facebook, but completely forgot about their Bluesky account. Shameful showing from TF Direct, especially in the current political climate. Don't care if its 'being edgy' or actually going mask off. Fuck TF-Direct. Avoid ordering From there in the future.

"Play Ghost Trick"

Really having trouble with writers block on the next video. As such, unsure if I'll have time to do the original Halloween special I had planned. I just haven't left enough time to do it. So I'll be pivoting again. Apologies. Different idea, and may not come out until later.

Aaaaaand we're locked in! Next Monday's stream is set...FOR POKEMON! Decided to with Heart Gold because I've only played Soul Silver as a kid, and it would be cool to see what the other side looks like. Same time, same place. See y'all on Twitch. www.twitch.tv/drlockdown

So seven havens is fucking amazing. Fresh and new, pushing the universe forward in creative ways. Yet still unmistakably Avatar. Like...holy shit the first three episodes really knocked it out of the park. I cannot wait to see where it goes.

Oh yeah, this thing existed didn't it? Genuinely forget they remade BBM Bumblebee for a second there. Not that I'm complaining, but...what a weird retool. What a weird release. I just didn't see many asking for this, and barely anyone talks about him these days.

Post your profile pic. Courtesy of the amazing @darkvioletcloud.bsky.social. Man's insane.

Bubble Burst Rental time! This month, the gang takes a look at a series that remains just as relevant today. Yes. A serial series. Enter: Serial Experiments Lain. youtu.be/JPd-wZ9FoxQ

Good news! Next review is a big one! AOTP Jetfire! Bad news. Its ballooning in scope, and I'm going to need an extra week. So Jetfire two weeks from now, Halloween special 1st of November. See y'all when I have more to show. Right now, writers block. Bweh.

LIVE NOW!

Don't forget; the second (and probably last) Devastation stream drops tomorrow. See y'all there.

Doc's on her back-collecting nonsense again! This time, its a nice simple little fella; one of the hidden gems of RID2001...or is it Machine Wars...or does it count as G2? Whatever; its just cool. Review #197: RID2001 Tow Line - OUT NOW! youtu.be/vevZF-ENM78

Don't forget, a brand new review on RID Tow Line drops tomorrow. The original. The classic. The excellence. Be there, or watch your car get towed. Don't have a car? Well...someone's car will be.

More wreckers please. Seriously...I crave my fix. Where's thunderclash already? Does machine wars Starscream have to sell well to justify machine wars Optimus to justify thunderclash?

Started editing the Legiondary Marathon today. Only got one mini review episode done, but...it's actually happening...after all this time...hell yeah...

Streams will continue until insanity improves. We're probably going to finish Transformers Devastation next stream, so make sure to pencil it out in your calendar. All streams now over on Twitch, so make the jump!

Tow Line review was FINALLY approved. So, we're all set to go. Early Access up now, General Release this Sunday. See y'all there. (Also with daylight savings, the timing may be a little different.) www.patreon.com/drlockdown/p...

Part of me wishes they did have Arcee in the 2007 movie. Not only would it have been really cool, but think of the updates to this toy we would've had years later. ...though...part of me doesn't...given she'd probably get killed off...

Something something wild docking.

Look, so much stuff is "reportedly" and "in development" that until I start to actually see on-set promotional photos, I'm not going to even think about the next transformers movie. Positively or negatively. So much has been cancelled as of late; I just don't trust Paramount ATM.

Another DNA banger. Probably one of their best kits.

Okay, RID Tow Line is 100% done now. Doesn't need any more tweaking or anything. All done. Final pass and everything, save for some shots a friend is sending me. Just waiting on sponsor approval and it'll be up for Early Access.

Getting towards the end of the year, so got a MASSIVE updating the plans for the next three months. This includes future reviews, the success of Dr Wu Devastator, future Livestreams and...a certain...marathon? What on earth could that be? Big wall of text ahead. www.patreon.com/drlockdown/p...

RID2001 Tow Line has finished filming, and thus the second Preview Gallery is up. Also finished the audio. Short one. ACTUALLY only fifteen minutes this time. Might finish it tonight. We'll see. www.patreon.com/drlockdown/p...

LIVE NOW ON TWITCH! For some bizzare reason, the multicast thing (which worked perfectly yesterday) failed miserably today. So I'll ONLY BE STREAMING ON TWITCH! HEAD ON OVER NOW!
