As someone who spent 43+ years in the SBC... I hope they vote the Mohler amendment down. The whole point of being Baptist is autonomy of local churches, not enforced conformity on an issue of secondary importance. And I am glad my family left the SBC for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship in 2024.
