Trying to be strict with truthy/falsy checks in JavaScript because it might introduce bugs. JS has two bottom types: null and undefined which makes it a hassle. Learned today that x == null checks for both null and undefined i.e undefined == null // true developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/W...

Back to jobby job tomorrow. Two months of full indie is over. Was a really nice experiment. Let’s see what the future holds.

I don't really understand how anyone understand big cloud pricing. Their free tier is nice and all but to understand what it would cost for real is insanley complex.

that's why i like hetzner and digital ocean, clear and predictible pricing. and their ui is sooo much better than anyone of the big clouds.

The harsh unpopular truth: not everyone can make a living on the internet. Indie hacking isn't accessible to everyone. It's pure logic, and anyone who claims otherwise is just selling dreams trying to make money off your back. 🧵

Estimeringsfällan #podcast #scrum #agile Har utvecklare - eller långdistanslöpare - något att vinna på estimering? Ett utdrag ur Kodnack 622 - lyssna där poddar finns eller på kodsnack.se!

I really like Sqlite. Contemplating running it prod until I need to switch to postgres. I think it’s just enough until an idea is proven and when you get the need to scale.

What’s your favourite s3/object storage provider? I just tried Hetzners new offering but it’s too slow (might be user error) compared to DO spaces #buildinpublic

It's Øredev debrief week, and in the first episode of the week Fredrik chats with Corin Ism about the power developers have to change the world in positive ways. If you think about the interfaces you build as the law in the system, will that change how you build them? kodsnack.se/613/

If you liked Kodsnack episode 604 (kodsnack.se/604/) with Evan Czaplicki, then this is exactly for you. (And if you like this, Kodsnack 604 may well be for you.)

What’s happening with Elm-lang? That had to be the first question I asked #Elm's creator, Evan Czaplicki, and you can't answer without asking, what’s happening with Open Source funding? Can OSS successfully exist when companies want everything they can get for free, forever? 😰 youtu.be/0SUM4869ODc
