Free Tickets are now available for our first ever Repair Summit! Join us at the Rediscovery Centre on Saturday 28 November for a day of learning and sharing. We’ll celebrate the joys of repair, share practical tips on running a repair café, and hear about the networks that make it all happen.

Our Last Repair Café of 2026 is well underway down here at @toghackerspace (Unit 1B, Motor City, Kylemore Road). Here until 4pm for any last minute fixes!

Dublin Maker’s first ever Science Week event is here!!!! Making Waves brings together synth musicians, makers, and marine scientists for an afternoon of sea‑soaked curiosity and sound. Join us as we head to Wicklow with Bloop Groop, Jellylab, and Tog Hackerspace...

One of the best parts of Dublin Maker is what happens after the festival. In the last few weeks we have visited some of our makers in their own workspaces (@farsetlabs - spot the Dublin Maker signage!)

Others we see at different events around the country - like @emilystampart at the National Ploughing Championships! Its a great chance to hear stories from Dublin Maker 2026, and start planning for 2027!

We’re bringing Ireland’s repair communities together this November at The Repair Summit - a full day of shared skills, practical know‑how, and the behind‑the‑scenes work that keeps repair cafés running. Want to contribute? The Call for Sessions is open until 14 September.

Among the many exciting things that happened at Dublin Maker 2026 — this one deserves its own spotlight. 🧱 Ben, of Ben's Bricks, a lego genius spent two months planning a full LEGO mosaic of the Dublin Maker logo - roughly 11,500 pieces.

Then, over the weekend, YOU built it: 512 unique sections, assembled by makers of every age, coming together piece by piece into the finished image. Massive thanks to Dublin Brick Con for sponsoring it 💚 Proof that the best exhibits are the ones you can't do alone! #DublinMaker #LEGO

Dublin Maker 2026 is done and dusted. Two days at Leopardstown, hundreds of makers, thousands of visitors, one very well-attended fashion show, and more soldering irons than any reasonable person needs.

None of it happens without the people who back us. Our sponsors cover the things nobody sees: the shuttle buses, the ISL interpreters, the workshop materials, the marquees, the insurance, the signage, and the coffee that keeps the volunteers upright. See you in 2027!

One of our biggest priorities at Dublin Maker is making sure we create an event that is as accessible and inclusive as possible, for the broadest possible audience. For our 2026 festival, we’ve been working hard to put a range of accessibility measures in place, including...

♿ Wheelchair accessibility throughout our venue. 🤟 ISL interpretation will be available 🔇 Quiet Hours on Sunday from 10am–11:30am 🎧 Ear defenders and earplugs available to borrow from our Info Stand 🟢🟡🟠Traffic Light Communication Stickers to help people communicate their preferred way of interacting

🐾 Meet our tiniest maker‑in‑residence: the pygmy shrew! She’s shrew‑d, she’s crafty, and she’s ready to scamper into Dublin Maker next weekend. We’ve hidden her around the venue - see if you can track down this shrew‑per sneaky mascot as you explore. www.DublinMaker.ie

"To make things is such a foundational, fundamental human experience. It connects us to community, it connects us to our history, and it connects us to the world around us." We had a lovely chat with Irish Tech News earlier about Dublin Maker 2026 Take a look here: irishtechnews.ie/dublin-maker...

Every year we take the "maker mindset" to heart and think about ways that we can improve the festival for all our visitors. This year, we are going to have dedicated Quiet Hours (between 10am - 11:30am on Sunday) and a dedicated Quiet Space at the festival, for those attendees who might...
