Hazy IPA with some lactose. Erebus, el Dorado, zappa, krush hop hash and hbc 1019 hop hash in whirlpool and Erebus, zappa and el Dorado as a dry hop. Soft mouthfeel. Nice creaminess. Tropical, slight bitterness but love the overall fruitiness. Great color after a month. No oxidation

Oh boy. First medals for me at liquid poetry slam in Colorado. Maibock won another silver and the newest French cider won a gold medal in its first comp. Pretty sweet hardware coming my way.

Well my favorite weekend of the year is over now. Can't wait for next year. The Michigan Homebrew festival! 19 clubs, about 200 options on draft. On Saturday the awards for the Michigan Beer Cup are handed out. Three silvers and a bronze for 5 entries is not too shabby. Awesome community!

British golden ale with cascade, warrior, bramling cross and Amarillo. Very crisp, nicel and hoppy. Refreshing on a hot day. #beersky #homebrew

9% imperial brown ale that aged in a 10 gallon former bourbon barrel that last held maple syrup. It ended with a sour bug in it. Brewed in 2024 but finally kegged it off. Bretty with notes of maple, chocolate, caramel. Very easily hides the ABV. #beersky #homebrewing

Took home a gold for an altbier at the Alabama Beer Cup. Also a gold for a cyser made with uncle johns heirloom blend cider and gibbons farm wild sunflower honey.
