ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER With a jumble of thoughts, a clutter of worries rattling through my brain, and with time spent pursuing the material, each day is like the old cliche about walking a tightrope, calculating every step, making sure I place, carefully, one foot in front of the other.

I do this, without a net, risking a possible fall, hoping for a moment when I can pause to just stand calmly above the chaos, remembering, life is a balancing act.
