Starting to get slightly confused at the story focus of Dune part 3 not in that the key conflict visual is Paul vs Chani but that its being put at the forefront with that new poster when i'd expect that to be the rug pull for book readers considering how the story actually goes.

Badland Hunters; What I thought i was gonna get: slightly shit korean Fallout. What I got: shit RE4/5 with one half hour of good action. Netflix movie (derogatory).

The thematic value of that intro being tonally different from the rest of the film due to seeing it through the memory of a kid isn't lost on me btw, also didn't mention the obvious in the OT but Day-Lewis was incredible.

Gangs of New York; Really amazing production design and costuming, but I wish they had stuck in one lane between it's two tones as the intro got me really interested in what it was doing, to get Scorsese's usual format after and a long middle act with a romance i was very cold on.

There's a track used several times in the score that made me go "sounds like intro track to Fellowship of the Ring" only for Howard Shore to be in the credits had me like
