A lot of those being targeted, dehumanized and marginalized by the right... and largely either ignored or used as talking points and political currency by the opposition... yeah, they're about to start stacking up in No Man's Land.

From the hillbilly translator page: porn - n. the shameful act of dispensing a liquid from one container into another, thereby necessitating the unholy cleaning ritual of "doin' dishes". ex: Why the hell you porn that there beer into a perfectly clean glass for when there's a coozy right thar?

The cost of living in Colorado now is such that you need 38.75 hourly in order to live in a house. With food and water and electricity and stuff. So, honestly... we should just... not live? *In case anyone wonders why some of us live in cars... which is also illegal in more places now, BTW.

They think they can just make the pieces fit however they want and call it "god's plan", hoping no one will notice.

β€ͺFeefer‬ β€ͺ@feefer2.bsky.social‬ Many evangelicals believe DT is a flawed mortal God uses to fulfill end-times Revelation prophecies, even citing how God sometimes uses flawed non-believing rulers (eg Pharoah) to demonstrate his greatness. πŸ™„ MAGATs are so gullible.

🀫 it's not just lack of taxation equity propping up these cardboard cut outs attempting to imitate real people and personages, parading around in picturesque opulence. The lower and middle classes are their bloodbags in more ways than one.

Seeing all these photos of the Met Gala outfits has left me with one thought. We need to tax the rich at a much higher rate.

Simply taxing them will never work in and of itself. Learning to vote with your wallet is equally, if not more important. What do these people learn from? Long term sanctions. Not one day. Not one policy. Participation perpetuates. Tank their profit margins.

Remember: Wealth cannot be separated from power. We're seeing in real time how the extreme concentration of wealth is distorting our politics, rigging markets, and granting unprecedented power to a handful of people. Taxing the rich isn't just an economic issue, it's a defense of our democracy.

My son, carefully examining a very old gravesite. He didn't say a word until the drive home when he asked "What happened in 1918?” having noticed the date on so many of the headstones...

Hoity-toity hot pocket? Fancy pants corn dog? The whitest burrito? It's all Wellington.

The winner of the lowest average approval rating as well as the widest partisan gap of any president in the last 80 years of Gallup data is... Yeah. You know who. If republicans weren't propping up that idiot, he would likely tie Truman for lowest ever. Currently just a 14% margin.

When the oligarchs say that the fulfillment of basic needs for everyone would end the incentive of people to work, this is an admission that capitalism is based on coercion, that it is fundamentally slavery because labor is not voluntary. Work to provide our opulence or starve, essentially.

We need to call for sanctions against the government and the oligarchs. Not just from the poor that have to... It depends upon the people who could keep buying their shit, as many currently do, choosing not to. We need to let them ALL know that they need us collectively far more than we need them.

Debt slavery is an insurance policy for the oligarchs. Thehave normalized your value being stripped away and that being debt free is a privilege you have to earn... Kinda fucking backwards, innit?
