Let’s take a trip down memory lane to another Eastercon gone by! 2Kon was the last Glasgow Eastercon to take place at the Central Hotel, with Guests of Honour Guy Gavriel Kay, Katherine Kurtz and Deborah Turner-Harris. Do you have memories to share?

The Central Hotel, which makes up the north west corner of Glasgow Central Station was the home of many Glasgow conventions from the mid eighties onwards until it went into administration in 2009.

We’re delighted to introduce another of our fantastic Guests of Honour for Unconfined: Tamsyn Muir! Originally from New Zealand, Tamsyn Muir is a science fiction, fantasy and horror author living in Oxford 🇳🇿 (1/3)

She published her first story, the multi-award nominated piece, The Deepwater Bride, in 2015, and went on to begin the New York Times bestselling Locked Tomb series with her debut novel Gideon The Ninth, in 2019, which won the Locus Award for Best First Novel! (2/3)
