Question for the farmers here: I spent some time living on a farm in New Zealand. There, Friday is "Town Day". Farmers go into town and get their banking, farm supplies, supermarket shop, all that stuff done. Do they do that here in the UK? How about in Borsetshire? #TheArchers

I had my flu vaccination after work today. After almost a decade of incurable illness, I've finally managed to have a vaccination without telling them I'm a recovering needle phobic. I even saw the needle and my heart rate stayed under 100.

I have left the house about four times this week, for a maximum of 20 minutes each time. Three times, I have seen people I know. Managed to avoid them seeing me two of those times, and probably the fourth someone saw me and didn't want to speak to me! Tottenham is a village. #TheArchers

As well as a traditional funeral, I went to a more pagan-feeling event for a friend of mine. There was a bonfire, singing, writing things down and casting them into the fire, that sort of thing. It was sad, and lovely.

It's my colleague's birthday. I think he had Covid too. I have baked a cake but should I also give him a test?

Update: I fell asleep, mum fell asleep, eventually got up and did the test. Yup, it's Covid. She nearly didn't do the test because her friend got the "wrong" test. She wanted a 4 in 1 test because she was sure it was something else not Covid.

Had a bit of an Instagram argument. Have just woken up to 27,000 likes on my comment and a pile-on of the person who disagreed with me...

I'm recovering from Covid and now I think my Mum has it. I'm not above a bit of emotional blackmail (also, she means am)
