On February 28th, Trump and Israel’s right-wing extremist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, began an illegal, premeditated and unconstitutional war in Iran. Thirteen US soldiers have been killed along with at least 1,300 Iranians, including 170 children killed in a missile strike on a girls elementary school in Southern Iran. Trump’s war in the Middle East has already cost the American taxpayers $22.8 billion. For $22.8 billion, we could provide Medicaid to 6.8 million kids, build 2.6 million public housing units, fund Head Start for 1.3 million, hire 240,000 teachers, and cancel $20,000 in student debt for 1 million borrowers. Now the Pentagon is asking for $200 billion more for the war. Americans of every political persuasion don’t want kings, and they don’t want war. Americans want decent-paying jobs, health care, and housing that they can afford. Join us for this phone bank to urge your Member of Congress to end the war with Iran. We will be calling into key Congressional districts to urge voters to make patch through calls to their Member of Congress. WHAT YOU WILL NEED: You will be need a computer or tablet with internet access and a phone to participate in this phone bank. We encourage you to also bring headphones to help with audio.
