The numbers on Yaxel were always pretty great and it's that jump in 3pt rate that really solidified him as a dude

@ebgp.bsky.social

Throw on a few filters for 3P/100, STOCK, TO rates and...

@ebgp.bsky.social

Acuff is being asked to be the team’s volume shooter and has to settle for a lot of bad looks, which is the expected outcome. But they need to commit to an offensive system where he can develop his skills within that role, which is what Sabonis actions are supposed to be for. Frustrating

@ebgp.bsky.social

It doesn’t help matters that they’re starting LaVine and Hunter, neither of whom have ever had interest in secondary playmaking

@ebgp.bsky.social

Kings just won’t win many of these games where LaVine and Acuff combine to go 5/17 from deep

@ebgp.bsky.social

Acuff’s 3pt shooting continues to be my primary concern with him, and he looks quite a bit off early

@ebgp.bsky.social

Mogbo is very endearing

@ebgp.bsky.social

Monk is wayyyy off his game

@ebgp.bsky.social

lmao

@ebgp.bsky.social

That's a really bad drive for Atlanta

@ebgp.bsky.social

I don’t know if the Giants could ever justify this to themselves, but JHL for Wacha can conceivably make sense for both sides as a mid contract swap

@ebgp.bsky.social

I also think the Royals are Extremely Weird about their trade asks for Wacha/Lugo considering how good they actually are, but

@ebgp.bsky.social

Lugo’s contract is untradeable, if he throws 163 innings next year he triggers a $20MM guaranteed option

@ebgp.bsky.social

Suns traded for Miles Bridges and now must deal with the consequences

@ebgp.bsky.social

Think about how many franchises would crater if they lost Craig Counsell and David Stearns

@ebgp.bsky.social

Well the rookie record for FGA is Wilt with 2311, which Acuff needs to average 28.2 FGA over 82 games to beat. So he probably won't get that. But the third rookie to put up 2000 FGA seems like it could very easily happen

@ebgp.bsky.social

LaVine was absolutely brutal down the stretch

@ebgp.bsky.social

Precious has been such a great pickup

@ebgp.bsky.social

Acuff on fire in 2nd half. Almost like playing through Sabonis works

@ebgp.bsky.social

Turang my god

@ebgp.bsky.social

I think Pratt’s spikes might scrape the corner of the base

@ebgp.bsky.social

Man, that’s tough

@ebgp.bsky.social

17/12/7 first half against Clingan. That’ll play

EB@ebgp.bsky.social

This is the impactful version of Sabonis that we haven’t seen since the Fox trade

@ebgp.bsky.social

LaVine somehow has 13 points. Think it says something that Sabonis’ impact is felt and LaVine’s… isn’t

@ebgp.bsky.social

lol Smoltz just confused Trevor and Tylor Megill

@ebgp.bsky.social

I personally remember Trevor Megill for that time the Giants hit three or four nukes off him with the Cubs

@ebgp.bsky.social

This is the impactful version of Sabonis that we haven’t seen since the Fox trade

@ebgp.bsky.social

RE24 increase of stealing third with two outs is only +.107

@ebgp.bsky.social

Logan Gilbert entering his last year of arbitration at $15.4MM estimated. He’s capped out at 3 fWAR but is a durable starter that gets strikeouts, so Freddy Peralta territory. Would Keyner Martinez and Gavin Kilen be enough?

@ebgp.bsky.social

Acuff is full on Cam Thomas mode this season, it’ll get them to 20+ wins, but I can’t take any of this seriously until Doug is gone

@ebgp.bsky.social

Sharp has been all over the place tonight (not in the positive way)

@ebgp.bsky.social

We were one pick away from Mikel Brown Jr man

@ebgp.bsky.social

Kings simply need Acuff to get more looks from playing off ball. Maybe we’ll see that when Monk is able to play. But he wasn’t much of an iso scorer in college and did really well on catch and shoot opportunities.

@ebgp.bsky.social

Sabonis gets a casual double double with 4 minutes left in the second quarter. The rest of the team?

@ebgp.bsky.social

Well you blink and LaVine has 16

@ebgp.bsky.social

Not much of a fan of Sabonis being the only one to bring the ball up the court with pace so far

@ebgp.bsky.social

Caleb Wilson is a -50 with 7 turnovers in 25 minutes. I've seen better debuts

@ebgp.bsky.social

Kings prediction: start 4-18, Doug is fired December 14, finish the year 20-40

@ebgp.bsky.social

Yeah

EB@ebgp.bsky.social

The Kuminga saga ends with the Warriors moving him for an expiring suffering a health condition that might spontaneously end his season at any moment Should’ve just taken Monk and the first, man

@ebgp.bsky.social

Paul George looked fantastic last season and it’s the least surprising thing ever that he’s meshing into the Boston system well

@ebgp.bsky.social

SF RP threw the most SI/4S in MLB in 2026 (0.2% more than CHW). So you'd expect their bullpen reinforcements to have a good fastball. FA LHRP who grade out well on Stuff+: Milner and Hill thx to funk, Morejon, Vesia, Alvarado, Minter, Burke, T. Alexander, J. Romero, Soto, Strahm

@ebgp.bsky.social

Say SF plan is: Kenley Jansen, Brock Burke, keep Hentges, sign Tim Hill to NRI. Does that satisfy bullpen needs? That's probably an ~$18MM plan, which would mean near to or above a $200MM payroll before addressing the two holes in the rotation.

@ebgp.bsky.social

Bader and Houser combined $24MM looms large here. Get off half of that and you effectively only need to add one starter signing to the payroll. Means an open 5th spot that should go to Birdsong in the 2nd half. Then again, a better manager would turn that spot into bullpen games.
