10 years ago, I took my students to (then) House Representative Van Hollen's office to ask Q's of their rep. It's upsetting to see we've made no progress on this issue in a decade, that the same GOP tactics continue, & also that @vanhollen.senate.gov has been fighting this fight a long time.

The loss of human is tragic. The death of a fellow Jew is abhorrent. The murder of someone who dedicated their life to peaceful solutions & interfaith dialogue is a travesty. Last night, 16 Senate Democrats voted with Republicans to advance a crypto-friendly bill that will enable Trump’s corruption. Instead of standing up to Trump, these 16 Democrats decided they’d rather do a big favor for the crypto industry and legitimize an avenue for Trump to collect bribes.
