the most important decoration is now up — @marlowedobbe.com's WAL-OUIJA BOARD
Oh hey, @hankgreen.bsky.social has a new game. It’s definitely more complex than 4x3 and Smush but it has a tutorial to introduce the game. I’m intrigued
I bought this after hearing @jasonschreier.bsky.social talk it up on this week’s Triple Click. Excited to check it out
Btw if you want to buy an awesome puzzle game that came out today, buy Echo Weaver: store.steampowered.com/app/2184080/...

Rolled credits and man, Well Dweller is really excellent. Highly recommended. @kylethompsondev.bsky.social
If you’ve ever been interested in Hollow Knight or Silksong, but bristled against the difficulty, check out Well Dweller. It clearly takes inspiration from those games, but removes a lot of the friction and punishing elements. There’s still challenge, but like without runbacks and losing currency.
Blake Manor is a game I didn’t connect with as much as I would have liked — but it’s a unique enough swing that I kinda want to own a physical edition.
The Séance of Blake Manor (PS5/Switch 2) up for preorder on Amazon ($34.99/$49.99) amzn.to/4hxn5Ha VGP buff.ly/zVasgc7 PNP buff.ly/EPZAlif Lost in Cult Edition buff.ly/CiAGzbl #ad
This is not to suggest the friction in those games is bad — I LOVE Silksong, it’s probably my favorite game this decade. But Well Dweller is mechanically solid and gorgeous like Hollow Knight, without the “frustrating” elements that turn some people off.

If you have any interest in puzzles, check out @flebpuzzles.bsky.social’s 20 Small Mazes and 20 More, Somehow Even Smaller, Mazes. Both are short, delightful, incredibly inventive, and free! store.steampowered.com/app/4428890/...
If you can get past the fact that it’s 30 FPS (or emulate with a 60 FPS mod), Samus Returns really is a proto-Dread. I’m having a fantastic time with it This is the turnaround I always hope to have when I replay Spirit Tracks (but never actually do)
Okay, I have turned around on Samus Returns. I played through it once at launch, tried to revisit it a few times and it never took. I’m not sure if it’s the fact that I’m emulating at 60 FPS or just that I’m actually giving it more time, but I am truly enjoying it probably for the first time ever.
