After watching the 2 shootouts this season, I would use other skaters other than McDavid and Drai. They just don't get it done. #LetsGoOilers

The #LetsGoOilers were better than Saturday but not much. 3 blown leads and I still think the team plays different in front of Levi. They need him back although I haven't read anything about what's wrong with him other than her is on IR.

And this BS of taking the puck from the offensive zone back to deep in the defensive zone has to stop. There needs to be a rule that once you cross center with the puck, you can't take it back over. Wings did that consistently. #LetsGoOilers puck up the loser point.

#LetsGoOilers need to learn to shoot the freaking puck in the shootout instead of always trying the fancy shit. McDavid and Drai with brutal attempts and nude with a weak shot. #Oilersv lose to a goalie who was making his first start in the NHL of course

#LetsGoOilers and wings can't resolve anything in overtime so of to the Shootout. #Oilers outshot the wings 4-1 in that OT

Wings keep the puck in the #LetsGoOilers zone for almost 2 minutes and they tie the game. Brutal team defending there and seemed like one that Jarry should have had

3 minutes to go and the Wings pull the goalie. #LetsGoOilers could use an ENG here

3:28 to go and Dach gets a deflection in front and makes it 3-2 #LetsGoOilers. Good hustle in front. Good shot by Shea

10:35 to go and Podkolzin gets cross checked but no call, he comes back with one of his own and he gets called. #LetsGoOilers to the PK.

15:12 left and the Wings tie the game. Walman lost the puck behind the net and it got passed out to a wide open player. Brutal defense by the #LetsGoOilers

6 seconds left in the PP and Ike Howard takes a pass at the dot and he drills it home. #LetsGoOilers least 2-1

Wings kill the penalty then only 20 seconds after, the Wings get called for a trip on Bouchard. #LetsGoOilers back to the PP and they really need a goal here

3 seconds into the third and Arvidsson gets called for high sticking Podkolzin. #LetsGoOilers to the PP

2:30 to go in the second and Podkolzin is set up for a clear shot but the Skinny Red Kid makes the save. Damn crossbar. #LetsGoOilers

Larkin chops the stock out of Michaels hands. A pretty obvious slash even in the eyes of Louie DeBrusk but the stripes are blind or have a different idea of what slashing is. #LetsGoOilers could have used a PP there

51 seconds into the PP and the Wings tie the game. Arvidson with the goal. #LetsGoOilers getting outplayed here in the second

12:16 to go in the second and Murphy gets called for taking down Larkin. #LetsGoOilers back to the PK for the third time this game

12:24 to go in the second and Hyman is taken heavily into the boards and he goes down and looks injured. He is helped of the ice and down the tunnel. Not good for the #LetsGoOilers

16 minutes to go in the second and Jarry makes 2 or 3 really good saves to keep the #LetsGoOilers up 1-0

1:15 gone in the second and Hyman plays a chip and chase and Faulk takes him down. #LetsGoOilers to the PK

First period over with the #LetsGoOilers leading 1-0. Shots were 6-5 for the Wings. Definitely a better first period than Saturday

Just over 2 minutes to go in the first, Shea is called for a high stick. #LetsGoOilers to the PK

7:07 left in the first and Podkolzin gets called for interference. That's a questionable call but the #LetsGoOilers go to the PK

6:10 and a Drai centering pass deflected of the defenders skate and in. 1-0 #LetsGoOilers

How the hell was that not GI on Detroit. The guy just smashed right through Jarry. #LetsGoOilers

So which #LetsGoOilers team are we going to see tonight? The team that showed up against the Wild and Canes or the one that showed up to play the Leafs?

So the #LetsGoOilers game tonight is on Sportsnet+. What the hell is #Sportsnet thinking. Who the hell cares about the world series on SNW? That sure isn't showing their fans the respect they deserve.

Lack of goaltending, again, poor team defense and lack of scoring by anyone not named McDavid or Drai. #LetsGoOilers need some serious help.

7-2 final. #LetsGoOilers were an embarrassment. They need to do some serious looking in the mirror before the Monday game

Why the #LetsGoOilers pulled the goalie I don't know. Your team sucks and you have been embarrassed on home ice so let's just make it look even worse. This game has been the same as the Canucks game

23 seconds into the PP and McDavid sets up Drai and he finds the twine. #LetsGoOilers now trail 5-2

3:48 to go and the #LetsGoOilersb to the PP. We are at the BFD time of the game. This one is already over

Jarry still not giving me or his team any confidence. The #LetsGoOilers just play different in front of Levi

Walman with a fumble at the Leafs Blueline which ends up in an odd man rush that Jarry makes a save on, losses track of the puck and it ends up in the net. #LetsGoOilers now trail 5-1 with 6 minutes to go. Brutal, just brutal

Everyone not named McDavid or Draisaitl need to start contributing offensively of the #LetsGoOilers are going to succeed. The curvy scoring pace of 29 and 97 is unsustainable.

I love Podkolzin but the dude needs to hit the net more with all the chances he gets #LetsGoOilers

14:15 to go and Dach gets called for hooking and the #LetsGoOilers go to the PP... But it only took 14 seconds for the Leafs to score. Putrid PK and a shot Jarry has to save. Game, set, match

56 second left in the second, playing 4 on 4 and McDavid passes to Drai in the high slot and he finds the net. #LetsGoOilers now trail 3-1

#LetsGoOilers with some looks on the PP but either gave Stolarz a clear look at the shot or missed the net with the shot. Leafs with the better chance SH that time

5:21 to go in the second and McDavid draws a slash and the #LetsGoOilers go to the PP in a must score situation

One of the issues tonight is the #LetsGoOilers top line has been playing like they did in the past. McDavid, Drai and Podkolzin are all -2. Not enough attention to the 200 for game.

Murphy can't be taking 5 minute penalties with a nobody especially with the weak defense the #LetsGoOilers have displayed tonight

Oilers D is weak especially with Ekholm out. Mukhamadullin is a big guy who plays like a 5'6" 150lb guy.

1 minute later and the Leafs score again. 3 on 2 this time and the shot goes top corner to make it 3-0. I'm afraid the #LetsGoOilers are done like dinner tonight. Enough of the home team really didn't come to play tonight

30 second later and the Leafs break in 2 on 1 and Matthews makes it 2-0. Bad line change by the #LetsGoOilers

5 minutes into the second and a Great pass by Jarry and Hyman has a break that goes off the post. #LetsGoOilers

56 second left in the first and stetcher and formenton both head of for roughing. Stetcher should have initially been called for the trip. #LetsGoOilers

Hyman gets cross-checked in front of the Leafs net after talking 2 or 3 whacks to the legs but of course no call. #LetsGoOilers

Of course the Leads advised first. #LetsGoOilers come close at one end, Leafs break out 2 on 1 and score. And of course the goal was scored by Roslovic

That was an absolutely dirty play by Roslovic taking Walman out. Only 2 minutes and the #LetsGoOilers go to the PP. That has to be reviewed by player safety
