GM just announced the biggest stock buyback in automotive industry history. Instead of investing in their workers or new product lines, GM executives are robbing from the future to pay themselves and their shareholders today. Stock buybacks should be illegal.

The midterms are being flooded with dark money & Trump is doing everything he can to suppress the vote. But remember — WE THE PEOPLE outnumber Trump and his billionaire backers. Keep phoning. Keep canvassing. Keep getting out the vote for candidates on the side of working people. It is essential.

WARNING: The Ellison family is about to own CBS News AND CNN. A judge just cleared the deal. Closing: days away. When one family controls what tens of millions watch, democracy loses a watchdog. Independent media isn't a luxury. It's your last line of defense.

There are Dems I intend to vote for. But I'm counting on Oregon process working. I'm counting on ballots reaching my mailbox. I'll mark my ballots. I'll drive about 2 miles to the Drop Box. And drop them in. And shortly, my votes will be counted. TaDa!

Something is deeply wrong when Trump’s net worth is skyrocketing but families across the country can’t afford gas, groceries, and health care. Donald Trump’s culture of open corruption is leaving Americans out to dry while he and his friends get rich.

I believe that grid energy should be planned for health and affordability. And as much as possible it should come from Enhanced Geothermal Systems to minimize emissions.

Iowa has U of Iowa, U of Iowa, and several good smaller Universities. Hopefully, Iowans will realize that Maga is not how to grow Iowa? Figure out what people can lead to make sure good things grow in Iowa. Think about it.

I sure like Jeffrey Merkley! His little enjoyment of one of Oregon's wording from the building... he'd make a really good president. Maybe he could even get engineering teams working together for us all.

The "President of the United States", who made the cost of living crisis extremely worse, is now dangling a $5,000 “promise” in front of voters IF they keep his party in power. This is deeply inhumane

The American people are very smart. They know that their lives have only gotten worse under this Administration. And they know this will just be another one of Trump's many broken promises to the American people. So let's call a thing pathetic, illegal, and corrupt attempt to try to win

One of the many wonders of this country is the Smithsonian Institute. A country that country look back and realize how wonderful things have been. I 'm going to watch the ducks. Add to our wonders and rebuild our thoughts.

That’s why we’re launching Operation: Stop a Coup. Between now and election day, we’re throwing down to train up leaders and mobilize young people to key locations, ready to counter Trump’s plans to steal the midterms. We’re preparing for: Poll watching to prevent

PGE is requesting yet ANOTHER rate increase. This one will be 3.9%. That means that since 2023, that's a 48.7% increase in rates. Re: Opposition to PGE’s Proposed 3.9% Rate Increase This comment in strong opposition to Portland General Electric’s request for an additional 3.9% rate increase.

$268 Billion spent on #Deportations❗

Robert Reich@rbreich.bsky.social

We are projected to spend $268 BILLION on deportations — costing the average American taxpayer about $2,358 (according to @epi.org). But somehow we “can’t afford” to make sure hungry children can eat or ensure everyone, no matter their income, can access healthcare. Priorities.

The Boundary Waters is one of America’s greatest natural treasures — clean water, quiet wilderness, and the kind of place families travel from across the country to experience.

A single-payer universal healthcare system could cover every American, save more than 100,000 lives a year, and still cost $1 trillion less than the system it would replace… even after accounting for the additional care that uninsured and underinsured people would receive.

Rho Khana just got off the stage at the DNC, where he made the case for a bold agenda actually makes life more affordable. That means: ✅ Medicare for All. ✅ Tax the billionaires. ✅ Free childcare. ✅ Good jobs in every community. ✅ No more endless foreign wars. ✅ Get big money out of our politic

Dem's always get freaked out by the progressives/Democratic socialists. They really do suck at reading the room. Americans are sick of the corruption and ineffectiveness, that's why Mamdani and other progressives are winning.
