Another gorgeous Vancouver Island morning💕

We are having the most beautiful weather here on Vancouver Island. Hard to believe snow predicted 🤷‍♀️

Kinda fogged in this am😅

My beautiful senior standard. She's got a worried look to her lately. Dogs are so sensitive picking up not only on household vibes but I think society in general😕

A balmy 12 degrees on Vancouver Island today. Horses starting to shed😮

My beautiful senior girl💕

Another day of our never ending fall. Vancouver Island🇨🇦

I want to know why the protector and provider types in the room didn't extend their protection to the lady reporter🙄

Powerful.

Enjoying these last fall days💕

Good morning Blue Jay fans🇨🇦

Sometimes it's the little things-being proud of the longest undefended border in the world, 'Hands across the Border' at Peace Arch, mom/daughter 'Twilight' pilgrimage to Forks Washington(🙈), meeting many Americans so proud of their beautiful state and sharing places 'we must' visit. Sigh...

Another gorgeous fall day in the making.

Beautiful fall days☺️

These fall days☺️

Enjoying fall 🍁

My crazy standard🤣

Not only is the power of the purse something we have control over- it is the only effective way to get the message across. No appeals to democracy, free speech, morality, e-mailing, protests etc will make a difference. Money talks.

Struck me that Portugal funicular crash killing 16 people had such an impact on the peoples of Portugal. National day of mourning, the citizenry traumatized. Would this evoke the same horror here? Our desensitization is the worst.

My bookends😊

This weekend we were cheered up by rain(we need more) and our snowbirds🇨🇦!!

Relaxing walk home after lesson. Always the best part☺️

Some beautiful rides on the trail lately☺️

Another beautiful waterfront walk😊

Forever making me feel guilty

I never want to hear anybody ask (in an incredulous tone) how the atrocities committed by Nazi Germany during WW2 happened😩

Sunset walk💕

Sunset waterfront walk☺️

Sunset walk Vancouver Island 🇨🇦

My goofy standard😅

These are strange times! Met an American today at Vancouver airport just waiting on our flights she was visiting sister here. At the end of our small talk we shook hands(?) and I said 'thank you for visiting Canada' like some kind of ambassador or something😂

@apeacelover.bsky.social This is the most eloquent description of our demise at this point in time. It could not be more on point. We need more to speak up who have this kind of eloquence. Don't let this sacred day pass without listening to this short clip.

Good morning!

My bookends❤️

My New Forest Pony❤️

Good morning from Vancouver Island! Another beautiful day is shaping up❤️

What's next for #NeverPoilievre, a pretend assassination attempt and a feminine napkin taped to his ear??

A new campaign: Authors and Booklovers for Carney and Democracy (ABCD). Focusing on giving info/fighting disinfo in Canadian Election. Please share if you'd like to help! #electcarney #ABCD

Enjoying our am walk❤️ My almost 13 year old☺️

A fresh groom. Look better feel better😅

Had the most beautiful ride the other day❤️

We cede no ground, we cede no territory—we push forward, go on the offense, and ensure our framework and worldview prevail instead of existing within the contours of a right-wing hellscape and constantly playing defense. open.substack.com/pub/meidasto...

Giving me the sad look as I head out🙈

My senior standard enjoying the couch🥰

We went from this to that in 24 hours.
