After watching Heather Cox Richardson's talk from yesterday, I just sent letters to 5 Republican Senators asking them to vote against Pete Hegseth's nomination. I live in a blue state, so I'm not a constituent of any of them. Is this worth the effort, or will the letters not even be counted?

I want to fight Trump's despicable plan to intern & deport immigrants and refugees. We've seen enough of his cruel family separation policies! I want to protest, and donate to legal groups who will fight this. Can someone point me in the right direction? #Immigration #Refugees #Resist #Protest
