We can see and feel the effect on higher costs today but the effect on reorganized supply chains will not be completely seen and felt (or understood) for some time to come.
Trump's tariffs are hurting us in two ways: First, the obvious: Higher costs → either lower profits or higher prices. Second, more subtle (perhaps bigger): We’ve signaled we’re an unreliable partner, so allies are reorganizing supply chains to avoid us. That's hard to unwind.
So the Texas Republican governor is vowing to “tariff” the upset Republican New Yorkers fleeing NYC after Mamdani wins? How does that even make any sense? Are MAGA heads that stupid to think this somehow owns the libs?
They’ve all gone mad. Texas Governor Greg Abbott: “After the polls close tomorrow night, I will impose a 100% tariff on anyone moving to Texas from NYC.”
Based on this man’s racist and nativist stance, his own children should not even exist. Someday they will grow up and learn about their father’s abhorrent public comments.
Vance says it is "totally reasonable and acceptable" for people to not want to live next door to people who speak a different language than they do
Wait til Trump finds out about this….
Marco Rubio co-signed a letter in support of the nomination of María Corina Machado for the Nobel Peace Prize. Here’s the letter he and several other GOP lawmakers sent to the Nobel committee last year. Mike Waltz also co-signed the letter. www.rickscott.senate.gov/services/fil...
