#residentevilvillage sona! The outfit is based on things I own irl, including the camera! With it, I solve puzzles and document this beautiful, yet eerie village all around me... and fawn over the local merchant whenever i have the chance. ;3

....well I like the OOT remake's artstyle. I think it looks really pretty and full of life! :) I like the different choices they made, even if I wouldn't have made some of them. But hey guess what? If you prefer a more faithful recreation, um... this isn't the first time they've redone this title!

I could write a whole (video?) essay on this - and maybe will to further its reach - but I am begging people, especially in this current age, to please stop calling human made art "slop". Guys - we have to lift up the works of fellow man now more than ever.

Sure, history repeats itself - i remember jokingly calling my art "garbage". But I don't know - "garbage" feels subjective. One man's trash and all that. "Slop" is objective. You don't go into a creative endeavor to make slop. Slop is churned out by soulless corporations. It's a damning term.

Now is not the time to give into irony-poison and start using "slop" as a suffix to attach to things you deem unworthy. "slop" means something that is churned out with no inherent value. I'm sorry, I'm usually not so grandiose - but the way this term has been seeded into current slang is disturbing.

To call human art "slop" is antithetical to art itself. Art, in its creation, is inherently imbued with meaning. I've seen other artists refer to their own stuff with this slop suffix, for God's sake! That doesn't make me laugh. It just bums me out that you'd put down your work like that for a joke.
