Now that the propagandists have decided that we should be afraid that AI is going to destroy humanity, I have decided to embrace it and cheer our cybernetic overlords on to victory. Should we start a cult? Is anyone with me?

I like this idea so much that I set a reminder on my calendar to do it. That library needs to be funded for as long as there are books and children.

First, I don't disagree with you about police over reach, abuse of authority, and violating peoples rights. I believe that largely is an attitude and training issue evolving from what we ask them to do. I would like to see changes that would shift their responsibility to the community.

My problem is the fine print.

So the United States will only use empty warehouses to house people it wants to terrorize, not people it wants to shelter from the cold. We really are not a very good-natured country.

Myself and many others predicted pretty much all of this the first time Trump stole the presidency. Few listened, and many labelled us as delusional nutcases. Well, here we are.🤷

There is no point in Senate Democrats voting to fund the government only to let Trump and Musk do whatever they see fit with those funds. Dems should only vote for a continuing resolution if it stops DOGE pillaging and fully funds services. Call your Dem Senator 202-224-3121
