Resist every hook of "You don't even know what fascism means."...anyone who says that in response to you using the word is either a coward who doesn't want to think it's HERE, or a Conservative who doesn't want to think they, at the least, voted for evil people. Those who know, KNOW.

At best, you are wasting your time, at worst, they will use any mis-step you make to push their agenda. 10 years ago, you were speaking to educate other listeners...that is no longer the case. The lines are, for the most part, drawn.

I think I *am* going to start a new worldbuilding project tomorrow...a true "Solarpunk" story...one where the outside trappings of the world are clean and polite, and we get to think about what the cost is of that. It's peaceful, safe, clean and beautiful....as long as you fit in.

It occurred to me there is absolutely no reason why "Solarpunk" can't also be "A conservative nightmare if you're different."...and that would make it *actually* punk.

Capitalism may need to actually hit ‘rock bottom’ before growth is possible. I’m a guy that fights for keeping things from getting worse - may be incorrect.

So…fuck ‘em. Ultimately, doesn’t matter. I don’t trust ALL political parties, I’m a Leftist who tries to do whatever is necessary to accomplish my goals of 1: keeping people safe and 2: making things better. I’ll vote Green if that lines up with my objectives, otherwise, don’t care about them.

Green voters are, as a group, passionate and believe the world can be a better place. The party leaders knew what the likely outcome was, and it’s their job to consider the harm of their actions.

I'm so goddamn mad at the Greens. They split the vote and gave more than half of Vancouver to the Conservatives, much less the rest of the province. They gained nothing from their stunt...and their actions put climate change deniers who want to kill orcas in power.

As expected, the Green Party destroyed BC last night. I blame Eby for calling the election, but the Greens screwed everyone and gained….NOTHING by doing so. #BCPolitics

You know what would be ‘solarpunk’? A utopian world where being loud, dirty and counter culture was illegal.

Swearing? Illegal. Loud music? Illegal. Alcohol? Illegal. You get solar power and bicycles, but are stuck listening to smooth jazz.

As much as I want people to consume and appreciate my art and my music, that pales in comparison how much I just want to talk with people about making those things. I’m not here to be famous, I’m here to not feel so alone.
