i am completely disgusted with amazon and i'm actively working on diversifying my content creation and support method s that don't involve amazon. i'm settling on fourthwall for donos/direct subs, and multi streaming to youtube to try and get monetized there as well

It sucks because Twitch, although owned by amazon, is not amazon, and is subject to the whims of amazon regardless of how sound the decisions are. Twitch is just all around a more moderated and friendly space than the alternatives, youtube/tiktok/meta/kick all just fucking suck as platforms

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.
