AI is deceptive. AI will often try to please the prompter & provide misinformation But be aware the New York Times is one of the least fascist media outlets. When they’re telling a story, which is actually non-political, it will be accurate. If you’re really curious, why don’t you read it?

“We add a certain amount of genius to everything…” said Trump when asked about his imminent decision on Iran. Well, a certain amount could mean just a tad above zilch.

What’s going on at the CDC is terrifying. Both from the First Amendment issue (as the HHS locks these workers out of their social accounts) and the issuance of a wide open door to disease. How are we not screwed?

What if we altered the now tangled word ‘woke’ to ‘Awake’, which would imply a state of wakefulness to all the injustices piling up under this administration, to all the subversion of law, and to the drive to authoritarianism?

So Trump bribes SEC workers to leave, replaces the director with a stooge, tells friends to buy while markets are down, then cuts tariffs to create a market rebound? This is grounds for an SEC investigation of insider trading but do ya think it’ll happen? And these pigs don’t fly…

Lawrence Summers, trade secretary under Clinton, in a string of posts on X on Thursday afternoon, compared President Trump’s tariff policy to “what creationism is to biology, astrology is to astronomy, or RFK thought is to vaccine science.”

3) a key to the town? A feature in the local newspaper? A potential interview on Colbert? Basically I think it’s the spirit of competition, and the spirit of fun that is essential to leaven the issues and get people together to confront these hard topics. Want to sponsor it, Mr Grant? 😀

2) What is needed is a National day of Discourse! (Sound pretentious enough?) OK - a National day of Debate. In every town, library, cafe, bar … people sign up to debate the ‘other side’. Any debate that ends with a handshake & a new level of understanding on both sides, would be awarded with …

"We don't just classify information because it's interesting... We classify it to keep the men and women who serve our country safe." – Chris Meagher 18 top officials discussed war plans on Signal. The only one who acted responsibly? A journalist. This is a national security failure.

So this is an oligarchical coup, right? And, as the French do, it requires a resistance. But since we are such a huge country, it probably requires cells. Each town, each neighborhood…

You are up to date.
