Somewhere under two weeks. A coffee shop hired me and when I got there I discovered it was like The Bachelor, but employment. Maybe 7/8 people had been hired when they only needed 2 (?) and everyone was trained and then had to prove they were the best or get a random text before a shift.

I FINALLY found meal replacement shakes that are vegan and NOT 0g of sugar. Kate Farms for the win! Hella expensive but a fucking lifesaver when my brain wants to be weird about food.

I have GOT to learn that late night barn visits need to include bringing an emergency bag with water, snacks, change of clothes, etc. cause if somethings going on with a horse I’m always gonna stay til everything is alright.

went to the barn slightly late tonight bc my new meds went from WORKING to invisible in its effects after like four days. Ended up being perfect timing since help was needed for a horse is marcels barn who had his third (?) recent colic this month. He’s COMING from marcels record.

My friend I was invited by was like “so have you seen your other friends recently” and I I thought of that one friend who recently ghosted me for a year and in the process kinda lowkey stole my cat he was watching for me. My other friend who’s as reliable as a printer.

Like I attest it like 45% to the fact it was at a cool lounge and then moved to karaoke night at a sports bar. Nothing like such a place to inspire depression. Someone’s talking about a team they’re routing for, I’m remembering a life where I felt like I belonged.

Yall ever go out and accept a social invitation and just like—cry as soon as you get home?? I zoned out like 3/4th into said event and had to steer my emotions back into the depths til it was a good time to exit. Literally the nicest people and I felt like a half dead fish out of water.

Keep having dreams about an old friend of mine. In the dream I was sad for some reason and she hugged me and asked if that made it better. I responded “it made me have hope” My entire waking day is thrown. I don’t know how to proceed. What the fucking whiplash of a dream interaction.

My local grocery store had near east pearled couscous (one of my current favorite safe foods) sitting there at $4.11/box when Whole Foods has it for like 3.69?! When prices elsewhere go higher than WF you know things are fucked up.

Imagine a world where you had a huge country property and built a whole catio around the old barn. An indoor outdoor space where you accepted kittens from the local cat rescue and had a social media dedicated to adorable kitten pictures to raise money for said rescue. made me think of that.

Every day people show me antique photos of cats forced into costumes or wired into anthropomorphic positions, expecting me to be delighted. I know they mean well but I've seen them all and I hate them. I love cats. Seeing them uncomfortable and humiliated for human entertainment does nothing for me.
