J'ai commencé à écouter le livre audio des Plouffe de Roger Lemelin, lu par Pierre Curzi. L'auteur est tellement un amoureux de Saint-Sauveur, je ferme les yeux et je m'imagine dans l'escalier Victoria avec Ovide et Rita. C'est tellement un beau roman de Québec 🥰

First movie I saw in 2026, "Marty Supreme" was magnificent. Great storyline, the best performance of Chalamet, awesome soundtrack, great characters. I loved it, 10/10.

I often take pictures of special events, of travels, of peculiar happenstance, but the pictures I cherish the most are often the normal days of yesteryear. It looks uninteresting when you live it, but it gets emotional to look back at it in the future.

So take some time today to take a picture of your home, your office, a loved one cooking, your child doing their homework, your parents watching TV, or whatever. You'll be happy to have those pictures in a couple of years.

Going through my notes while reviewing my year, here is a list of movies I watched in 2024 that I would recommend:

"Promising Young Woman" (2020) by Emerald Fennell. A strong feminist movie, incredibly in your face. Very much needed in today's world.

"The Lighthouse" (2015) by Robert Eggers. Not a movie for everyone, but truly a unique experience. A mind-twisting movie with sexual tension never seen before.

Going through my notes while reviewing my year, here is a list of movies I watched in 2024 that I would recommend:

"L'inconnu du lac" (2013) by Alain Guiraudie. A captivating suspense, beautiful scenery, simple but powerful characters, well integrated erotica scenes, I loved every minute of it.

"Triangle of Sadness" (2022) by Ruben Östlund. A powerful satire in three acts, criticising the hypocritical rich and beautiful. All-in, no regrets. Do not watch while eating, especially the second act.

Going through my notes while reviewing my year, here is a list of movies I watched in 2024 that I would recommend:

"Nosferatu" (2024) by Robert Eggers. Go watch it in theater right now. A perfect horror movie IMHO. I also recommend the original (1922), very impressive for its time, especially the camera cuts and shadows.

"The Substance" (2024) by Coralie Fargeat. An homage to many horror movies, an interesting sense of humour, and an all-in finale.
