I feel bad that Wildwood didn't have a very big opening, but I really do want to wait to see it for Halloween weekend. I bet a lot of people are.

Here's what it looked like already past its prime a little in 2010 while I was in college and my little brother used it versus last week.

Also saw my favorite type of treefrog while I was in Indiana since it was so warm at first. Even heard them sing. I love gray treefrogs. I miss them out west.

I'm going to be on a short vacation to see my family until October 22nd. There's a bunch of projects that I wanted to finish before I left, but they'll have priority once I return before I take any new work in November. I'll probably work on speedpaints or sketches during downtime still.

Did another funky little watercolor sheet to cut out and give to people randomly. If you ever recognize me out in the world, I'll probably give you a free mini watercolor.

Finally learning how to make black bean burgers from scratch with dry beans so I can use up a bunch of bags we have. Found out that 1/2 cup per patty is far too much.

I did a tiny bit of trinket trading at the faire. Quite a few of my little watercolors are left so I'll do more trinket trading in the future with friends or randomly.

I especially like how my partner's spellbook turned out. Here's some pictures during the process. I distressed the pages and he did basically everything else.

We had a really nice time at HoneySpell Cafe's Journaling Night on the North side of Spokane tonight. I don't really know how to journal so I sketched a bit and gifted a couple of my little watercolors after I cut them out. It's so pretty in there and my mocha was good!

Our friend had 100 pounds of potatoes sent to us yesterday for some reason. My cat Zuko for scale, but he's honestly so big that it makes the potatoes seem less ridiculous. Potato recipes are welcome lol

I wanted to paint a bunch of little watercolor sunflowers, but I lost focus and ended up with mostly dinosaurs. I plan to gift them to people at the Spokane Renaissance Faire. #TraditionalArt #Paleoart

Got 3 different immunizations today, and boy are my arms tired. Going to mess around with watercolors until I inevitably have to nap.

The disappointment of getting all the way home before realizing they put beef in my fajita veggie tacos (there aren't any fajita veggies either) so they just made double of my partner's order. They even wrote 'veggie' on the top of the container. Curse you, Cafe Rio. Now he gets to eat all of it.

I often think back to a random elective I took in college about 20th century fashion (as an illustration major with no interest in fashion) and the professor was really cool and would bring in a bunch of shoes and say, "time to feed the shoe demon."

I didn't have a shoe demon to feed like the other students, but it was still very charming. Also took a science fiction course where my notes looked like this. I swear I was actually paying attention and got a lot out of the class.
