LOVE NOTES: Two women grow and heal together while navigating the trials of love, life and college marching band. 🎺🎵 84k new adult, sapphic sports romance I can't believe I missed #queerpit! Shocked to discover my story is still very gay even outside of June and queer pit. 😘 #NA #R #amquerying

Fun fact about me: I don't typically enjoy scary media but many things still scare me. 😱

Witchy fall rec: An Amateur Witch's Guide to Murder! My only regret is that I didn't read it BEFORE I got to hang out at the booth next to K. Valentin at the Book Lovers Con in Vegas so I could gush to them about how much I loved it! The humor is laugh-so-loud-you-startle-the-cat funny.

I'm lucky to have a job I enjoy that also pays the bills but daaaang sometimes I have an idea and would love to be writing instead. Anyone else?

I'm a few years late but I just finished Casey McQuiston's One Last Stop (digging my way out of my TBR list but not faster than it's growing) and have to yell about it. So good! I especially loved the relationships, both romantic and platonic, and the questions about identity and sense of self.

I keep asking myself: Am I inspired by this media or am I fixated and want to write fanfic? Or a secret third option, do I just want to immediately read/watch/hear it again? 🤷‍♂️ We may never know.

Would you read a sapphic college marching band romance? I hope so, because that's what I'm querying. Love Notes is a story about two women deciding how much of themselves to share with the world and each other while navigating life, love and college marching band. ❤️ 🎺 #amquerying #writing

If It Doesn't Exist, MAKE IT. Aka. The motivational bnuy. #originalart

There is no version of yourself you could become that would satisfy the people who hate you. So you might as well be who you are.

Wacom recently asked me to talk about why I make queer comics, and given there are multiple bills right now floating around in congress that are effectively "we will kill your livelihood if we get a sniff of queer" I had some pretty strong, simply feelings to relay.

Anti-Prime Day starts…NOW! 🥳 Today through 6/26, enjoy free standard shipping site-wide, all while supporting local, independent bookstores.

Fingers crossed this means my sapphic marching band romance will resonate with folks! 🌈🎺 #amquerying www.vice.com/en/article/w...

I love the classic romance novel vibes of the Rainbow Crate edition of Make Room for Love by Darcy Liao. I loved these characters and particularly enjoyed the audiobook. I took a break from my MS to read while I wait for edits. This had the perfect balance of cozy and fight the power for me. ❤️

This rainbow crosswalk in Olympia (it exists outside of June, even!) makes me happy every time I see it. I'm elbow-deep editing my current manuscript (a sapphic, new adult, sports romance) and definitely not putting it off to stare at colorful pictures on social media. 😬

Happy Pride! 💓🧡💛💚💙💜 I swapped poetry with a friend recently and it made me realize how much I missed reading, writing and listening to poetry. I picked this collection up to add a little more poetry to a recent trip and was reminded how much emotion and meaning we can convey in short form styles.

Thanks for your email. I had to talk to a stranger on the phone today (called a restaurant about hours and reservations) so I'll need to wrap early (stare at the ceiling for until my heart rate comes down before resuming work). Thanks so much for understanding!

I have twice now had Threads lock my account and require verification immediately after following/engaging with queer creators... Has anybody else encountered this? It required me to prove I wasn't a bot, get a verification code by text AND submit a selfie.
