Please remember if you're in Alberta to vote today. There is still time - and you can cast a ballot if you get in line before 8pm.

Rewatching The Owl House is such a wild time. It’s even better the second time through. It’s also Feros’s first time watching it and he is equally transfixed

As the previous Chair - I highly recommend applying. It's an experience you cannot get anywhere else and is an amazing way to serve this amazing furry community.

Nominations are open for the BC Anthropomorphic Events Association Board of Directors. Existing and former staff members of the VancouFur, Vanhoover, and Tails of Summer conventions are invited to submit nominations for capable, dedicated, and motivated people to join the BCAEA Board of directors.

You know nothing triggers me more than seeing government sponsored ads to this referendum... Why? We have catastrophic numbers on this - people FOUGHT the greenline - but we are fine with THIS? I have lost all respect for anyone who is ok with this. Seriously unfollow me if you're cool with this

I have such a love hate relationship with electrolysis - On one hand … kills the hairs I have tried to laser for 2 years… on the other hand OUCH!!! At least my electrolysis tech is on-point (seriously @runesdotfz.me Runi rocks)

Sitting in a calm Sunday morning, coffee and a book…enjoying with intent … magical.

You know your life is a little messed when you can now contextually meow at your partner and they understand. We meow at each other with appropriate grammar ... 🤪

When you meet your boyfriends very Brazillian father for the first time. Wasn't prepared for the cheek kiss - that was a new and zesty surprise lol.

And I have arrived home 🏡 Perhaps a little sore...perhaps a little fried - but looking back ... would absolutely do again #TailsOfSummer #Tails2026 #TeamTails #tos2026 #furrycon #furry

Sitting in the lobby, now all packed up and looking back the very first year of @tailsofsummer.com and words utterly fail me. We brought 752 furries together and made something truly magical! I know every chair waxes poetically about their convention but I truly believe in what we did here.

@andiifox.bsky.social for being the support I knew I could always lean on and learn from. Thank you for always having my back.

I also owe a special thanks to my partners who stood by me and gave up time to let me do this. There are countless others that I owe my thanks to make this possible more than I could ever list but are no less important. Together we have and will continue to do great things…

@vanillaskunk.ca for being our multi-capacity skunk who did everything from HR to rocking our network access.

Denver for being our Microsoft rockstar in the background and making sure our infrastructure- could not have done it without you girl.

@wildelementstudios.com for stepping in and being the comms person we could not operate without. Your energy is infectious and truly inspiring to me.

@sniffum.bsky.social you are truly someone who means more to this community and to this con than I could ever put into words. Your kindness and warmth is a credit to furries everywhere.

@tonakuma.bsky.social was my non-binary knight in shining armour from socials to DJ’s they did it all. Truly someone I could not have pulled this off without.

Datarus has been in more trenches than many with me and who’s sassy remarks truly make my connection to this community so much deeper. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

@astraether.bsky.social has my thanks for keeping me sane and never letting me give up even when I questioned my own capabilities. He stepped in for the con both literally and figuratively when we needed and is the squid we needed and deserved.

@beekin.bsky.social has taught me so much over the years - and knowing he always has my back in AV has always let all our events shine. I could not have done this without him and look forward to working together in the future.

Another shoutout to @shakaar.bsky.social for being a mentor and friend when I needed one most. I still remain convinced hotel math is witchcraft … but he might be the grand wizard.

@havok4890.bsky.social has and will always be the person I know I can call in any crisis and will show up. I cannot express how much this man has anchored and had both mine and the conventions back. Truly the unsung hero of operations and the big brother to all our convention goers.

I could not have done any of this without #TeamTails behind me. I will say this was not an easy road and we had some hard challenges to overcome. We had three months to pull this event from shuttering to success. I drove hard, asked a lot of my staff and asked for their faith in my leadership.

And I watched all of them grow and pull together into a found family that truly accomplished the impossible. A special thanks to @shadowsmyst.bsky.social who fiercely had my back, listened to my thousands of questions. I would not be the woman or leader I am today without her guidance and wisdom.

Over the weekend I saw strangers become a community. I saw new friendships formed and I saw people lookout for one another. I cannot express what joy that brings me to see people find their tribe. This community is something special and it’s been such a joy to see Tails become a part of that.

This will be the @tailsofsummer.com Photo Thread Dump. I’m sorry to @wildelementstudios.com who’ll have to read this. But… you and @emkat.co just killed it. #TailsOfSummer #FurryCon I’ll be adding photos as the day goes on. But here’s reg’s on setup night. I’m sorry for the lack of Alt text.

I am so unbelievably proud of what our little team was able to do in our first year!!! #TeamTails truly is something special!!!

Tails of Summer (19+)@tailsofsummer.com

You all are amazing! We had 752 attending for our inaugural year!

And I am back in the YVR - a journey and a half for sure #furry #Travel #Tails2026 #ToS2026

I am watching someone inflate a whole mini body pillow in the row ahead of me…. What is….absolutely unhinged

Bag dropped and security cleared in under 10 min. A new personal best !!! Folks your Tails Chair is inbound to YVR see you all soon #furry #furrycon #Tails2026 #ToS2026

You know just a casual morning of locusts, plagues and did I pack the right bra for this? What would a trip to the airport be without this ? #furry #travel #Tails2026 #ToS2026

Update - it’s an audio bible advertisement… 1-800-something something to enjoy “biblical truths”. Is it different than regular truths ? I have some questions. #furry #travel

Oh …. Oh no …. The Uber driver is listening to what I believe to be the Old Testament on audiobook … #furry #travel #Tails2026

Retinol - Acids on point - lip mask I may have to wake up at 3am - but at least I will look like I slept well

20 July

So a friendly reminder to all folks who go to room parties ... ⭐Never ever let someone mix your drink. If you get handed a can clean it and check for residue or punctures ⭐Never let the drink out of your sight. ⭐Never ever drink from a drink if you put it down at any point.

20 July

Ah yes. The morning thunderstorm ⛈️ would happen on the shift I am covering out of the goodness of my heart with a 3 am wake up time....

So while I have no idea what's happening in this game the dramatic camera angles and emotional montages of men is hilarious 😂

We are eating nachos and I am pretending to know anything about sports... I think one team is Spain.. ? ... The only team I cheers for is AFC Richmond lol 😂

Always mixed feels about the end of a con. On one hand... It's been amazing to meet so many trans furs through the TransFemme panels but on the other it's been wild weather and some very questionable eating establishment choices. Over all it's been a good convention though #FEH2026

Personally I am really here for the lightening. And the people screaming for it outside the hotel. You do you fuzzies you do you #FEH2026
