Over the weekend, while riding with a friend, I had a chance to compare side-by-side to another navigation app in a live environment. Overall the app performed pretty well. I am continuing to improve the route-builder and will be doing some multi-car tests soon. #buildinpublic

This morning, I had an excellent time getting out to the first Caffeine and Octane of the year. I got to see some truly amazing vehicles including this gorgeous Lamborghini Countach. I can't wait to share KONVOY with these enthusiasts in the upcoming months. #buildinpublic

I spent some time today in the Mapbox Studio. It's extremely powerful and a bit overwhelming with all of the options. I designed a dark-themed navigation map and added some 3d elements and more information that I think will be useful. #buildinpublic #cars #flutterdev

I visited some friends for Christmas and used KONVOY to get there. It was a great test and I found a few issues. You can see 2 of the issues here. The first is the wrong roundabout icon, and the second is the blue line blocks the road sign. #buildinpublic #flutterdev #cars

I had a surprisingly easy time getting voice instructions set up today. I utilized the flutter_tts package and voice instructions work similarly to displaying banner instructions. I also added the voice chat button back. #buildinpublic #flutterdev #cars

I got the navigation icons working today. I had to contribute to the Flutter Mapbox API package and pull in the Icons Mapbox provides, but I am happy with the result. Getting close to a serviceable navigation system for beta. #buildinpublic #flutterdev #cars

I had the opportunity to give Figma's Figjam AI a try today. I used it to make a layout for my Wife and I to set up our 5-year plan. A short prompt set up all of the sections for brainstorming, organizing goals into years, and action items instantly. Very impressed!

I spent today setting up some deep linking with Branch.io, I have used them since Firebase Dynamic Links got deprecated. I still miss the Firebase offering, but this gets the job done. This will enable users to invite drivers to their trips. #buildinpublic #cars #carphotography
