Hello Bluesky followers!! To kick things off here, here are the dinosaur I designed for Jurassic World Evolution 2 that i'm MOST proud of! Utahraptor πŸ¦…, Sinosauropteryx 🍁, Yutyrannus ❄️ and Jeholopterus πŸ¦‹ (Jeholopterus image from BestInSlot on YT!)

Gonna start a little thread for my historical fiction project #PARADOXICA Set in late victorian England, Time travel to the mesozoic has become quite the industry, for both scientific research and (for better or for worse,) tourism. Here we have Lana Carter taking her friends dromeosaur for a walk πŸ˜‡

Tooth-Billed Pigeons are so cool!!! So here's a painting study where I made it into a dromaeosaur lmao Original photo by Rebecca Stirnemann #paleoart #paleontology

There’s a genus of pigeons known as the tooth-billed pigeons. The genus name, Didunculus, even means β€œlittle dodo”, based on its supposed close relation to the dodo. The dodo’s closest living relative is actually the Nicobar pigeon.

OK, decided to tweak it a little because me trying to parallel the animal with the figurine displayed horizontally obscured the fact that it had high shoulders and not a flat back πŸ™ƒ

- the 'ear tufts' on Jeholopterus are inspired by owls! - When designing the yutyrannus, I got a really cool 3D fossil replica of the skull from EverythingDinosaur (dot com) ...That's not really a cool fact, just a cool thing i own lolπŸ˜‚ everyone should have a yutyrannus skull on their desk

I build my dinosaur skeletons bone-by-bone. It helps ensure their utility as comprehensive scientific resources. But... it also means I can do this. Oh, they're goin' ta have to glue you back together... IN HELL!

Putting your dromaeosaur in a Snood is a great way to keep them warm in winter AND keep calm during firework displays or thunderstorms!!*** *** we take no responsibility for any injuries sustained while trying to put a dromaeosaur in a Snood #paleoart #paleoartist

You are up to date.
