Here to see the news and people's wildlife photos. Post stuff I study about in biology, science, math that's interesting. I watch movies. I am a computer programmer. Vancouver; BC

This is an example how I use AI. This is where I am right now. I'm deciding how to implement a Model View Controller MVC pattern. Basically I'm going to pass json between components to tell them what to run. I have an app stage, a service (global stuff), for common calling to Iridium (C++) from JS.

The magic Angular side resides in this single function which pipes commands over to the Iridium native server (3D rendering, lifetime, assets loading and storing). Angular is the App. Aurum is a website loaded into Iridium. I want a complete suite of apps, but at that point I'd need coders.

Copilot has generally been free up until now. For smaller basic tasks. I ask it questions about things. Things that aren't coding. 3 changes have taken place: 1) automatic discussion reset after N no activity 2) image generation basically costs free GP tokens 3) today it seems they're adding ads

I've got quadrant select focus. I can subdivide the 3D port 1 - 4 times. That's a limit. I'm not going to try and subdivide like Blender. There's no reason for that and I've designed Iridium to spawn extra windows for extra monitors and multiple GPU's. I'll let grids and backdrop contrast views.

I'm not a Conservative or Liberal either. I don't just believe in fiscally responsible government that addresses the people's needs. I expect a good government could fulfill their promises to turn profit from a portion of taxes, to the benefit of workers--and they'd also excel at fulfilling needs.

The sign of individual greatness should be when all problems are solved by that individual (group entity). If entities are incapable of solving problems the entity should change. So basically, everything we know to do, we should do.

AI is impressive, but it's not as incredible as it seems: 1) doesn't organize or remove dead code (linting) without asking it to 2) is absolutely incapable of writing bug free css, it's always both wrong and a mess 3) it can understand when you tell it something is wrong, but it can't on its own

There's also the fact that we are creeping up on a technology cap. You can only make things so small.. Literally like 1 - 10 atoms. The advancements we need haven't come. It's really hard to stack chips due to cooling specifically.

My resume looks like this and I don't regret it: 2012 - 13 BSc Bio/Math Incomplete 2017 Welding Foundations Complete 2017 - 2022 Diploma Sci Complete 2017 - 2022 BA Phil & Econ Complete 2023 Millwright Foundations Complete 2017 - 2026 Breadth Poli Sci, History, Fine Art Total 2 Foundations + 250cr

I've got quad camera (1, 2, 3, or 4 arbitrary size). I can render in the space assigned by the UI and can clamp controls. For real I might as well just compete with Blender (no competition. Blender wins). Just added a model to a running scene.

There was a point I thought I was going to watch nature walks 16hrs a day for the rest of my life. Then I decided to go back to my useless project. Then I ended up signing up for 2 more years of school. Because 12 years wasn't enough.

So now that I have a functioning render engine and kernel, I need to choose an 'app' project. I have the fields app, which is where I ended with my DX12 engine. A few things I'm considering. A gaming engine, 3D CAD software, a video editor. A few things I need to add. A hair path, a scene graph.

I had to give my cat away. I quit my meds last Christmas, because I was manic and not thinking. I went back on after sleeping 2 hours a night for 3 months. I tentatively was possibly going to end up in the hospital so I had to surrender. I miss having a cat. I deleted the last picture I had of Yami.

So here's the thing. My parents knew as early as 3 that I had problems. At 8 years my school knew there was a problem. At 9 I started getting into serious trouble in my interactions with students. I was emotionally unstable. At a very young 14 years I was diagnosed bipolar.

I'm one of the smartest people on the planet, but I can't defend myself or network. And now I'm going back to school for stuff I already know. I might never work again. I work on my engine. I've tried to become self employed to no avail. My Dad hates my guts.

My running diagnosis is bipolar, schizoaffective, and autism. And yes, I've had electroshock. Here's the thing though. A small amount of understanding could have changed it so that I would have been a productive member of society. But I'm surrounded by spiteful savages. I don't know.

I thought I would grow out of it, but by 22 years I spent my first two weeks on ward. By that time I had lost the few friends I'd made in K12. I thought I still had a chance, but despite how smart I was I stagnated in developing a career. At 32 I finally went back to school.

I ended up on ward 3 times between 33 and 35 years. At this point I was put in public housing and put on disability. This allowed me to go to school, but I haven't been able to get a job since. My entire life is a sick joke. I rely on the people to keep me alive.

Entangled-Logic Alpha is my legal name. It was Rebeka Fox, but then I went on a manic trip and came out with a new name and a tattoo. It was a long manic episode. Spanned a year. :P

So. I want to go to the Vancouver Art Gallery, Museum of Anthropology, Vancouver Space Museum, and the Museum of Vancouver. To take more pictures. I upload shoots to YouTube as a 4K video.

I think BC can have a Conservative party and not be MAGA. I have nothing against sane Conservative parties. Modern Conservatism is primarily an economic position. Not a social one. In fact they are in support of public services--because taxes are for public services. Saving and trades. Cut red tape.

I'm glad I'm unimportant, because when you are important they start expecting that you do things. Like sit on planes. I'm quite alright never setting foot on another airplane or cross country train. I don't know.

What some rich rich people do. There are rich people who are systems analysts who make systems more profitable. People who understand things like returns to scale and what it means to have a business plan. We need to become more selective of our rich. Like in Canada, right? :P

I have ray tracing shadows. I fallback on a shadow map on old graphics cards. This is one feature I've never applied without using AI. Most of what you see is my 4th iteration where I decided to ditch Windows.

I guess I can't complain that no one will hire me. I get to do whatever I want and I'm fairly well taken care of. I don't have extra for like an actual 1 bedroom apartment (I love my studio) or a car. I still have $400/mo spending money. Not bad for a jobless person. Still . . . . . . . . . . ..

I'm one of the best coders on the planet. I haven't worked in 15yrs. The system is fucked up. I've been in school most of that 15yrs. My C++ is amazing though. I've also switched from Windows to OS minimal programming style. My current engine is cross platform and has like 1 OS call. SDL is cross.

OK I LIED THIS IS THE LAST ONE I can save each pattern now and it enters into a list for loading. I wish the video here was better. I had a site at one point that did 4K. I still have the site itself but it's not hosted anywhere.

NOBODY GETS IT :/ I think I'm the only one on the planet with one of these. I can now put a function or sets of functions to draw in 2D/3D into a textarea, set some settings, and compile and I can form any geometric pattern I want. Here is another strange affector.

I have never dated another human being. I wouldn't even know what it's like being in a relationship with someone. I had a handful of sexual adventures. Had sex with the hottest people on the planet. Definitely not a routine for me. I feel like a nun or religious figure. I mean I am sort of one.

Oh nice. Alberta's referendum ended well with 75% of Albertans' in favor of not moving forward with independence talks, and many only voting yes to move forward as a threat to Ottawa if it fails to recognize Alberta's issues.
