What does it mean to be Woke? 1. We have empathy for the plight of the underprivileged. 2. We are alert to the causes of social injustice. 3. We challenge injustice caused by the dominant power structure. 4. We amplify marginalized voices. 5. We believe in including the diversity of ideas & peoples.

". . . Melania, a ghastly parade of fun-house mirror herstory, will certainly be relegated to the footnotes of her family’s deeper atrocities. I would have asked what my fellow attendees thought, but not even a plastic cup of wine could help wash down the film in its entirety." Inae Oh, Mother Jones

Voters like a politician who they can identify with, like looking into a mirror. So, do you want to be a selfish, greedy, narcissist who needs to put his name on the Kennedy Center to feel better about himself or do you care about others first and want to the best for others?

ICE is upset that ICE isn't welcome in restaurants after ICE ordered food at a restaurant, ate it, then arrested restaurant employees, and ICE believes this is someone else's fault, do I have that right?

The legacy of Miller, Noem, Homan, Bovino and Lewandowski They brought a police state to life on the US. They have become federal agents with duties that they think includes becoming judge, jury and executioner It is obscene It is un-American It is MAGA Human beings with capacity to commit evil

United States immigration policy, which is obviously the federal government's number one political priority, is so obviously racist at its core (being built on the fear of dilution of "white Christian values") that I have a really hard time wrapping my head around it just for understanding it.

Let's be absolutely clear. They disarmed him, then they executed him. Execution is not too strong a word. Even if they were negligent, they were grossly negligent, also known under the law as recklessness. It was an execution.

Stephen Miller is a very sick person, more so, IMO, than the president. And he is calling the shots. I remember when Terry Moran dared to make this observation and got fired from ABC for it.

I remember a conversation with a Fundamentalist MAGAt who told me that he wasn't worried about an assault on democracy and the rule of law because, after all, "democracy is not a Christian value."

It's not debatable that a mentally disturbed person has the nuclear codes. The Republicans know they're endangering us all by leaving him in office. This is a betrayal of every person on Earth. It is a crime against humanity.
