I am afraid we are nearing "Charlotte's Web" time in my garden. The mama spider has made a bunch more nest area but is now down low on the plant and not looking too lively.

Baby spider update: the spiders have started moving out into their webbed area, and they scurry a little bit when I get near, which is not my favorite thing. Mom is still hanging on. We need rain but also I don't want it to rain on them!

I have a momma spider with an egg case on my marigolds. She seems very agile and moves it under the flower to get out of the sun or rain, but I hope she has a plan when the flowers die.
