Trump is funny because you both have to believe everything he says, while also assuming everything he says is a lie.

People need to stop pretending Charlie Kirk was someone he was not. Charlie Kirk made the world a worse place. But his assassination doesn’t make the world a better place. It has only caused a greater divide in a country that is already on a knife edge.

A conservative doesn’t murder people. A liberal doesn’t murder people. A psychopath murders people. A killers political affiliation shouldn’t influence your opinion on them.

Rationalising Russia‘s invasion of Ukraine because they where moving closer to NATO, would be like justifying sexually assaulting a woman because she was flirting with other guys. Although I guess that’s exactly how someone like Trump thinks, especially if she—sorry, Ukraine—wasn’t fully developed.

Over the past decades, the people spreading hateful ideologies have become more and more isolated. Their views, once encouraged, have started being rejected. When you aren't being heard anymore you only scream louder and more aggressively in a desperate final attempt to be heard. 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙗𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙩.

Social media is an echo chamber. You get stuck in a filter bubble. Every video/post you see confirms your beliefs, and you don’t get the opportunity to see the other side unless you actively seek it out, which most people—especially those less interested in politics—don’t do. It goes both ways.

It’s amazing watching the American propaganda machines at work. Now they’re comparing freeze frames of Obama, Harris et al. pointing or waving, to what Musk did. It’s not even remotely similar. You don’t have to defend him, it’s okay, guys. You don’t owe him anything. Let it go.
