Trump making a Sovereign Wealth Fund to "invest in the nation" is similar to something I've long called for, and would support only if every citizen is made an equal shareholder, with payments from the profits like a dividend, so that we'd all do better when the nation does and not just the rich!

This! We need action with our words, but so many don't want to take any, waiting and hoping someone else fixes everything. We are all the "someone else!" The U.N. strongly worded letter approach doesn't work for them and doesn't work in the U.S.

talia jane@taliajane.bsky.social

if your press statement about a thing happening is just words and no call to action or note of next steps your group is taking, it’s very hard to make people care and not just tune you out. “x person forcefully condemns y thing” yeah and what else

With the Los Angeles fires still burning there's rumors large real estate investors plan to take advantage, offering pennies on the dollar for property from the desperate. On top of insurance companies who took the money and ran! Rumors or real, the fact it's possible is wrong and should be criminal

The only people who love private insurance are the executive class who get rich from exploiting us, and their puppet politicians who get their cut to defend them.

ProfessPost@professpost.bsky.social

If Insurance Companies can find a way to not pay, they will not pay.

I've seen some calling for more housing to be built to drive prices down, but supply and demand doesn't function in an oligarchy. Corporations hoarding houses, driving up prices, and renting them out at insane rates must be stopped and the homes reclaimed so housing can become available to all!

Maxwell Frost@maxwellfrost.bsky.social

As housing prices increase, homelessness increases. Homelessness is a housing problem.

The rich need the poor to blame each other and even ourselves, or their whole structure of control will be on shakey ground. And when it is, then it can be stopped! And the elite wouldn't want that...

Andrea Junker@strandjunker.com

I need someone to explain to me why it’s always “if you can’t pay rent, buy fewer lattes and avocado toasts” and not “if you can’t pay your employees a living wage, buy fewer yachts and real estate”. Explain it to me like I’m in kindergarten.

The rich elites keep their power secure by convincing the poor that their fellow poor are the enemy. When we realize who the real enemy is and stand as one for our shared future, there will be no stopping the people. That's why we must organize!

ProfessPost@professpost.bsky.social

How true is that....

If any of us failed at our jobs as hard as Congress has we'd be fired, not given a raise! They should be held to the same standard as the people they claim to serve but never have.

The Tennessee Holler @thetnholler.bsky.social

The new government funding bill includes a pay raise for Congress, who already earn more than 94% of Americans. (The federal min. wage hasn’t changed from $7.25 per hour since 2009)

A cure you sell once, a treatment you can sell forever to the sick and desperate. The elite would end us all for their profit margins sake! Healthcare should not be for profit, but for people.

Fionna O’Leary@fascinatorfun.bsky.social

Goldman Sachs analysts : The money men saying the quiet part out loud Curing patients may not be a sufficiently profitable enterprise for biotech companies. Chronic disease is a far more beneficial business model www.cnbc.com/2018/04/11/g...

That commissioner is speaking for the corrupt CEO class and health insurance industry, not the people.

talia jane@taliajane.bsky.social

nypd commish tisch during presser forcefully stating “there is no heroism in what mangione did,” which is the kind of thing you say when everyone agrees with you and you don’t need to convince anyone and it’s not up for debate at all whatsoever.

Even in the decadent 1920's the rich paid more than today, while we the poor are left to suffer. It's time to organize! I hope you will join me in Rubicon, a new movement we are trying to build. Together we must fight for our future, not theirs!

ProfessPost@professpost.bsky.social

The billionaire power grab is real. And it’s working.

So either the Government knows exactly what these drones over New Jersey are and won't say, or they're too incompetent to bring one down and defend the people. Either way, I want my tax dollars back.

This sounds familiar to me, how about all of you?

Cen Galdre@cengaldre.com

Choosing healthplans for 2025 and our best area provider is leaving and the remaining healthplans for our county are like A. Expensive and reasonably good B. Less but still Expensive bad service C. Affordable Largely Useless D. For $600 a month if we find out you are sick we shoot you ourselves

Important lyrics and catchy as hell, this may be my favorite song of the year. One everyone should share and spread the word! It's time to organize and fight for our future, one that includes healthcare for all.

Melissa Nadia Viviana 🐸@resistrebelrevolt.net

🎵 There ain't no you in United Health There ain't no me in the company There ain't no us in the private trust There's hardly humans in humanity 🎵

Agreed 100%, it's time to #expose these dirty practices that have left us and our loved ones in debt, pain, or the grave while they profit! Share your story of what the healthcare criminals have done to you and your loved ones with #expose Then organize together to fight for our future!

peachiiKim@peachiikimaf.bsky.social

How many workers had dead peasant insurance that died of COVID contracted while doing their job that paid to their job after they were dead? What's the profit margin on this? This is a dirty incestuous rabbit hole, I think.

One more practice that should be a crime, but the elites and their companies have paid politicians to make legal. Just because they made it legal doesn't make it right!

peachiiKim@peachiikimaf.bsky.social

How much did they have Brian Thompson insured for? Do you know if your job will profit off your death from Dead Peasant Insurance? Probably not. They don't have to tell you or your family. www.lifeinsurance.org/questions/de...

#expose Denied for pain meds, while United Healthcare keeps making record profits. The criminal levels of careless greed is astounding. It's time to organize and fight for our future, healthcare is a human right!

Helen De Cruz@helendecruz.net

Thanks United Healthcare for once again denying my pain meds. I'm a cancer patient w a bad prognosis and in constant unmanageable pain, but just keep counting beans.

One of my experiences with health insurance: a loved one with health issues lost the ability to walk, needing physical rehab. After 2 weeks insurance said progress wasn't fast enough and sent them home. No care help but us, day and night, trying to help as they struggled, declined, and died #Expose

One tylenol costing enough for a bottle. We need to #expose the greed of the health "care" system by sharing our stories and what these health insurance companies have done to us. And we need to organize together, it's past time for universal healthcare!

ProfessPost@professpost.bsky.social

Voting didn't work, protests didn't work, it's time to organize together for our future! That's what we're trying to build with Rubicon, which I hope you all will help build with me as you can.

Lisa Reyna Loe@lisaloe.bsky.social

Good morning! ☀️☕️ Friends, we need to buckle up and put our game faces on. No one’s coming to save us. It’s us. WE are the cavalry. We cannot sink into despair or continue with the circular firing squad. Focus. Get ready for the call, the bat signal, whatever. Oh, buy battery packs. Trust. 🤳

These experiences of suffering by the system need to be everywhere, my story will be commented below. We should all share (without doxing) our stories and those of loved ones left in pain, debt or the grave by health insurance greed. Then organize with me in Rubicon! #expose what they've done to us

Saying they provide care while denying it and profiting from our pain! They won't learn. It's time to share the stories of what they've put us and loved ones through, from debt to pain to the grave. #expose their greed, then organize together!

Ken Klippenstein@kenklippenstein.bsky.social

UnitedHealth CEO Andrew Witty just sent a memo to staff (leaked to me) hailing late CEO as “one of the good guys” who had “a profoundly positive impact on the lives of so many people.” Witty adds: “He was certainly one of the smartest guys. I think he was one of the best guys.”

MSM keep crying that Brian Thompson was a father of 2. Everyone he and United Healthcare killed to feed their greed had families too, but MSM don't care about that. Health insurance criminals always got away with it. Just because they paid politicians to legalize their crimes doesn't make them ok!

Media are defending the health insurance execs and the corrupt insurance industry, screaming on every channel that death is never justified. Yet they seem perfectly happy with the countless deaths every year of people who are denied life saving care by their corporate greed! Where's their coverage?

People talking about the arrest of Luigi Mangione for the death of the United Healthcare CEO saying justice should have come from the justice system have a point. The problem is it didn't and never would. The rich own the system and politicians. For justice, we need a new system for the People!
