Sora on Broadway: (1/) Laugh all you like at technology… But while real Broadway was transcribing the latest 80’s cult movie, Sora users were giving us a never-was peek at what more imaginative adaptations COULD have lit up theaters— Like…a Three Stooges musical, for instance:

The Best of Sora: A Memorial Thread. 😢 It had no useful function. That’s why we liked it. It turned joke premises into waking dreams, and cartoon gags into “real” life. We had no control, so we challenged its “creativity” to match our imagination. Like the many “Jurassic Park: the Musicals”: 1/)

Y’know, things might get out of hand if this hack went viral, and people sent it to their relatively tech-illiterate Senators demanding action— 😈 Like @warren.senate.gov here in MA, f’rinst. bsky.app/profile/jwbf...

Scooping litter over the turds does not make them go away. It turns out that the redactions are not necessarily as redacted as they appear to me. I suspect that some folks is gonna get, "YOU'RE FIRED!!!"

I was going to post the annual tradition of prank AI “Strangest Macy’s Parade float” videos…. 😛 But then that real Stranger Things parade float had to come along and outdo the joke. 🤨

Watching tonight: Wag the Dog (1997) A wacky absurdist political satire, as ruthless presidential aide Robert DeNiro hires Hollywood producer Dustin Hoffman to concoct an imaginary “war”, to distract the press away from an embarrassing scandal between the president and an underage girl. 😂

Trapped with roommate making me watch NCIS— I can’t concentrate, as I have this obsession with wanting to see Gibbs watch his partner go into a situation, and warn him “No, no, don’t open that door, McGee!”

In today’s headlines, security guards detained a man who tried to crash through the front gate of Jennifer Aniston’s Bel Air mansion. ANNN-nyway, her bag of SkinnyPop popcorn was reportedly unharmed. 🙄🍿

👶 “Liberty.” 💁‍♂️ “It’s pronounced ‘Biberty’.” 👶 “Liiiiberty.” Okay. I want to know: WHO wished on a monkey’s paw that they’d freakin’ get rid of the Flightless Bird commercial? 😡

In latest sports news, Paige Bueckers became first pick in this year’s WNBA Draft, winning a spot with the Dallas Wings. And you can tell it’s women’s basketball, because they have My Little Pony for a team symbol. 😛

In today’s headlines: Trump removes tariffs for computers and smartphones made in China— For reasons having ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO with expensive iPhones getting more bad media press than expensive produce or lumber. Unless those bad Chinese keep sending us more bad Fentanyl. 😠

In latest headlines, State Farm insurance announced plans to drastically hike emergency insurance rates for already financially strapped California homeowners in light of the recent wildfires. …This sounds like a job for Batman. 🙄

Literally EVERY single news article on the de-extinction of Dire Wolves has, without exception, and often in the lead headline, used “They were on Game of Thrones! 🤓” as scientific justification. If so: I demand a campaign to increase funding for dragon DNA research. Now.

Latest Fox News faux-outrage? Tim Walz on tour, quote, “Acting like a standup conic” heckling Elon Musk’s financial freefall…. 😆 I’m Eric Janssen, and my pronouns are “Ever sit through a cringeworthily stagestruck Ted Cruz appearance at CPAC?” 🙄

Just to give some microcosmic representative example of how Disney’s pandering-over-backwards destroys their live-action remakes, but… …Shouldn’t the title properly be “Snow White AND the Seven Dwarfs”? 🤔 Or would the mere suggestion there was anyone else in the story disrespect her girlbosshood?🙄

Just turned on MTV, and they’re showing reruns of Big Bang Theory, just like every other Paramount/Viacom channel. I didn’t mind when it was Young Ones or Monkees reruns, but using it as the same dump that VH-1 used to be before RuPaul…the 80’s David Bowie in my soul just died a little. 😓

I turned on the morning news, and saw an item about Trump buying a Tesla from Elon Musk, followed by a segment about Girl Scout Cookie sales season. For what it’s worth. (Remember how it was always your mom that bought the first box? 😅)

Not that I believe paranoid sexist misandry shouldn’t sell midsize sports cars, just asking: …IS there such a thing as “Competitive Air Drumming”, and if so,where do I sign up? 🤔

I’m stuck in hospital for a week with nothing but my phone and cable Tv, and a few observations: 1). Remember when SyFy, E!, AMC, Bravo and FX had actual programs, and didn’t all show the EXACT SAME Harry Potter, SW and Marvel marathons as each other? (1/x)

2) I remember a book character once saying “I want to run on the beach, and go to amusement parks…I want everything I’ve seem in sitcom openings!” 😄 It’s the 20’s, and me, I want to fly kites, swing dance and go on cruises like the old people in pharm ads. 🥺

You are up to date.
