ChatGPT did not know this, so if you’re looking for the Little House episode where Laura gets a tin cup for Christmas from Mr. Edward’s, it’s actually a moment in the pilot movie (episode 1). The AI apps keep referring to an episode later in the series when this moment is retold.

A couple weeks ago, we had an awesome screening of my film 43 DEGREES NORTH at the Bowdoin Film Society in Brunswick, Maine. For a multitude of reasons, this meant a lot to me personally. #indiefilm #filmmaking #filmmaker #MakingMovies #cinema

An incredible sunset on Casco Bay on Wednesday evening (12/03/2025). Truly extraordinary. The panoramic was to document the ribbon of clouds that extended from Portland to Cliff Island. The close-up is how the red actually looked to the eye! #Maine #CascoBay

I tried to show my kid the live action Charlotte’s Web movie on the Roku channel but had to shut it off. Why do they think it’s okay to put pharmaceutical ads on a kid’s movie? Advertisers should insist their ads only play to audiences that are relevant, otherwise they’re just burning cash.

We lost one of the greats. Graham Greene was not only an actor but a trail blazer. He opened doors for so many of us Natives. I'm proud to say that the very first pilot I ever acted in was with Graham Greene. The pilot was never picked up but I get to say that I got to work with one of the greats.

From my hometown of Long Island, Maine - I always thought that Cousin’s Island (and the City of Yarmouth), just across the bay, looked like an aircraft carrier at anchor. On a night ride down the bay last Friday evening, I noticed it still does.

Rockland lighthouse - high tide. There is a breakwater to walk there but it’s hard to see with the tide so high. The fog wall in the backdrop blocks the view of Vinalhaven and North Haven Islands. Almost like a protective incantation. #Maine

The first time Charlie Chaplin used his voice in a film, he wielded it to forcefully condemn the rising forces of fascism around the globe. Will we listen to his words today?

Sweet and Salty are “tastes” - whereas Pineapple, Grape, Orange are flavors. Sweet is not a flavor. You can have Pineapple flavor, for example, without it tasting sweet. Think: Pineapple Seltzer. Okay, that’s it’s for now. 👍

The score for 43 Degrees North, composed by Italian composer Matteo Bartolo, will release on August 22nd. This is the first full score for one of my movies that will get a soundtrack release. #IndieFilm #Filmmaking #Filmmaker
