i woke up to mourn the loss of something that never happened i dreamt about a dog owner who was struck with grief when one of his pups became ill. afterwards, i watched a sped up version of the owner and his three other pups age through life gracefully, and it showed happier times

after waking up and processing it, i found it sad, but beautiful because who am i to see something vulnerable like that of someone else i’ve never seen before sometimes i wonder if dreams are windows to another place in time when i dream about random occurrences like this
