Spin Drive! Bugged attack animation, really. I've been trying to implement some simple combo attacks #gamedev #indiegame #godot

Pre-fire trajectory preview for projectile bouncing. The predicted path is still kinda off sometimes compared to the actual projectile path due to raycasts vs kinematicbody calculation #gamedev #indiegame #godot

Over the last few days I made a tiny side project. It's an experimental game about artificial selection of silly alien creatures, where you can engineer the target alien through selective breeding. Web-based, free. Play it here: erytau.itch.io/creatures-fr... #gamedev #indiedev

So I got myself a vertical mouse to help with my horrible arm strain, and wanted to draw something to test it out. Here is Red Mountain from Morrowind. Beware of the cliff racers! #pixelart #morrowind #tes #ElderScrolls

So I took a few days to update one of my previous projects: Cute Mold, a mold growth and evolution simulation. Yep, mold 🦠 Now the world is bigger, the molds are more complex, and there are light sources with cool names! erytau.itch.io/cute-mold #ebitengine #golang #gamedev #indiegame

Each mold gets energy from the empty space it surrounds, taking into account the light strength. This means the mold that surrounds more empty space gets more energy. Molds can't interact with or damage each other. Instead, they evolve simply by competing for space.

Molds with the same genome have the same color, but different shades. A mold with a mutated genome gets a new color. Cells can create spores that appear as black dots. Once a spore matures, it turns white, and a new mold is born from it.

Well, the save system is now fully working, saving and restoring all the complex interlocking moving puzzle pieces, levels, progress, etc. Downside - nothing interesting to post yet. Save systems always feel like a chore #gamedev

Scope creep, scope creep. Made a whole pixel editor inside of my game so the players can paint their own little paintings! It's janky as hell, but hey, it works! #pixelart #gamedev #indiegame #godot

#PixelArt Community! I am starting a new project called Pixel Possibilities. It will be a free downloadable zine dedicated to celebrating pixel art. The theme of the first zine will be "possibilities" and all who submit will be featured in the zine. Submissions due April 6th. (1/2)

I think this came out nicely. But what’s even cooler - this massive thing exists in real life! It’s "Kalyazin Radio Astronomy Observatory", and the photos are awesome (taken from google images)

Lady and the Cursed Sword, made in #Blockbench (might use this one in the game, idk) #lowpoly #pixelart #3d #ćƒ‰ćƒƒćƒˆēµµ

Here is a tram, old and cold, making its way through a snowy winter forest. Made in #blockbench Happy New Year, everyone #lowpoly #pixelart #art #ćƒ‰ćƒƒćƒˆēµµ

Haven't posted in a while, real life got in the way, but working hard again. Testing a bunch of colored lights for a new area Also, some fun with shadows #indiegame #godot #gamedev

Updated my tiny pixel font. Now Pixuf supports English, Spanish, Greek, Portuguese, German, Russian and more! Still free, still CC0. If I missed any characters you need, let me know and I'll try to add them. erytau.itch.io/pixuf #pixelart #gameassets #gamedev

A while ago I made a pixel font, Pixuf. The goal was to make it as tiny as I could while keeping it readable. Used it in two of my games. It's fully free (CC0), made for 8,Ā 16,Ā etc sizes, upper and lowercase ASCII. Hope it's useful to someone! erytau.itch.io/pixuf #pixelart #gameassets #gamedev

The orb and the cabinet here are animated with tweens. Tweens are like a cheat code for those who are bad at 3d animation (like me) Actually, most of the things in my game are animated with tweens 🫠 #indiegame #godot #gamedev #GodotEngine
