Yes! New outsider perspectives are valuable because even when they don’t quite fit, they might also spark revolutionary ideas!

1️⃣ the best authors of libraries have 'felt the pain' and are making it better 2️⃣ the 'curse of knowledge' means authors (can) become less insightful over time 3️⃣ a lack of domain expertise IS something you have to offer ... so, contribute to address a pain you have πŸ™ roe.dev/ama #ama

Currently redesigning `scrollBehavior` in vue-router. What are you missing today? Currently planned - Allow saving multiple positions - Custom capture and restore functions to use scrollIntoView and others - Session history instead of history state - Custom keying of entries (same url = same scroll)

Something I can't get to like in async/suspense, no matter the framework is that it still shows the old values while waiting the async update, e.g. here clicking on the button increments, triggers a fetch but the displayed value is blocked until fetch completes

if I click next page, I want to see the page number increment immediately, only parts depending on async stuff should delay changes until data is ready. So what am I missing (and this is not about Solid, Vue has similar issues with Suspense)? Or is this just for simple straightforward async/await?

I can't embed Vue TermUI in web (at least while using OpenTUI) so I built a small player based on `asciinema` format. it's fun to see the initial rendering being split into different lines

Yesterday afternoon I couldn't resist and revived VueTermUI, this time using OpenTUI, still running on Vite Got most of the primitives that existed previously working but still a lot to polish! The HMR is pretty nice!

Over the years, in Vue, we have added a lot of dev only warnings at runtime to help developers With @antfu.me we want to improve these with structured diagnostics: enforcing good practices for errors and pretty print output that is actionable (agents autofix cheat code) Say hello to nostics.dev

But in Vue, if you want the very best, use Pinia Colada 🍹

absolutely! in general, Nuxt tries to provide good defaults while allowing full customisation data fetching is something we provide simple core utils for because it deeply integrates with server ➑️ client consistency … but you can easily pick a data paradigm that fits you better. roe.dev/ama #ama

Here's an easter egg in the new Lego Batman that I think all of you will REALLY appreciate. It's so good, I had to make a video.
