Do not understand the unwillingness of the administration to release the Epstein Files. They’ve had more than enough time to expunge any reference to DJT. Which of course they would.

Let’s guess how many of Trump’s children and pals sold Kenvue short last week. (Yeah, that’s who makes Tylenol.)

Rodney King would have made a better national leader at this time than Donald Trump. How hard is “can’t we all just get along?”

How long before beating your wife is no longer illegal? Counting down....

www.affectiondeficitdisorder.com/p/its-all-fu.... New column up on #AffectionDeficitDisorder at Substack. Awaiting your horror stories with bated breath.

The country with the concentration camp isn't the good guy. Period.

So here’s my thought. Pete Hegseth and Kristi Noem can be Prom King and Prom Queen, and the nerds on the Student Council run the actual country.

Very excited that we'll be able to identify poor people by their rotten teeth again....

I'm also not a lawyer. I've still heard of the emoluments clause. WTF?

The good guys need a hat too. I'm workshopping ideas. AMERICA HAS NO KING makes the point, but will it fit? Maybe KISS THE RING in a circle with a slash across it? Thoughts?

First term we got a 1918-style pandemic. Second term we got a 1929-style stock market crash. Third term (and make no mistake, he’ll try)… 1940-style world war.

If you need break from saving democracy (I'm in, for what it's worth) you can check out the Kindle edition of my 1984 @stevienicksfeed.bsky.social biography, which has apparently just gone live after being stuck in some digital hopper for 10 months. a.co/d/653rslK

Bringing manufacturing jobs back to the US and simultaneously crippling unions = creating a lot of minimum wage gig work.

The bros are so self-righteously butt-hurt that 80% of women are attracted to 20% of men. Dude, 80% of men are also attracted to 20% of women. Duh.

www.affectiondeficitdisorder.com/p/the-optimi... Long overdue Substack post on Affection Deficit Disorder. Just not as entertainingly crazy as I used to be, I guess.

Donald Trump is a D-list reality TV celebrity who wouldn't have gotten invited to a decent Oscar party.

I kind of miss collecting the bacon grease in a coffee pot under the sink and cooking with it. Maybe if measles is coming back, that will too.

Serious question: Has our self-appointed new director of the national opera and national symphony ever been to an opera or symphony?

Watch "Kneecap" on Netflix. Thank me later.

If they really wanted to cut government spending, they'd eliminate the fucking TSA. What a useless waste of money, manpower, and goodwill.

Sorry, Ralph’s self-check. You’re not allowed to tell me to hurry up. You’re getting my labor for free. I will dawdle as I damn well please.

I’m excited to see what doubling the price of lumber and deporting most construction workers does to the cost of housing. Should be a windfall for homeowners.

Never mind the brazen grift. Explain to me how Trump Shitcoin does not violate the emoluments clause.

No one seriously thinks that Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth didn’t beat his wife. There are just people who don’t find that disqualifying.

It amazes me that a generation of young men who modeled themselves after #BartSimpson end up on #TeamMrBurns

My granddaughter asked to watch #ManontheInside with me because she’s an #OnlyMurdersintheBuilding fan and she thinks all old people shows are the same. (She’s not far off…)

I was thinking how I would like to live in a country where being a rapist isn’t disqualifying for holding high office… but I’m not sure there is one.

@npr.org just ran a trigger warning in front of their annual “It’s a Wonderful Life” story because of “a reference to suicide.” I think this is why Trump won.

Was Hunter Biden unfairly targeted and prosecuted because he is Joe Biden son? Yes. Was Hunter Biden unfairly empowered and enriched for decades because he is Joe Biden’s son? Also yes. Live by the nepo, die by the nepo. He shoulda done the time. (Rich, connected people never do hard time anyway.)

Half the time I can't tell if it's an @nytimes.com headline or an @theonion.com headline without scrolling.

It’s getting harder and harder to differentiate cabinet appointments from Onion headlines.

And hurry, as I suspect the new guys don't much care about manatees...

www.affectiondeficitdisorder.com/p/nobody-wan... Pop culture, love addiction, and your introduction to my Substack blog (if you aren’t already a follower. It’s free 😊.)

Trump would’ve been just as happy winning an Oscar. Or American Idol.

I do not think Mike Tyson is a good person. I still wish he had beaten the crap out of Logan Paul.

Chocolate over Vanilla Star Trek over Star Wars Dogs over Cats Labor over Capital

Hello, gang. I'm here. Holler if you need me!
