Shit keeps happening in the game ind. As someone in it and a fan, all I can do is keep loving the works I love and supporting dev teams—not "the company." Unless I only play solo/small indie games. And blaming the dev team's fate on DEI and saying they "deserved it" is cold-blooded and over the top.

When a game with crude art, design, and gameplay happens to include DEI elements, it seems to find a scapegoat. But that assumes LGBTQ+ ppl would actually pay for this inferior product or write positive reviews.

I'm like: come on, we has *taste*. If someone writes a failed, stereotyped LGBTQ+ character just to fish for praise, I'm pretty sure the harshest critics would be LGBTQ+ players themselves.

I don't think LGBTQ+ or feminists have anywhere near the power or say to bring down a project or a company. I think that's just demonization and fear. It's absurd, it both overestimates marginalized groups' voice and underestimates the power of capital and management.

很好笑，我明明很喜欢剪影SILOUTTE，但是我在玩ZP前根本不知道这个词的正确发音……查了，跟读后又会迅速忘掉，直到我今天看了我非常喜欢的一个艺术家分享了她如何把肖像做抽象和陌生化，反复提到“siloutte”这样的起稿方式，我终于记住这个词了。

Sadly, I think KINDRED and CASCADE were once incredibly close. Maybe K had some romantic feelings for Hersh, but Hersh always saw her as a kid or a little sister... 😤😤😫😫😭😭😭😖😖 #ZeroParades
