Hi, I’m Rachella! In my 24-years in events… I've done A LOT. I've made mistakes. I've made corrections. I've experienced a lot of what can, and will happen. And I've become an expert. I’m here to support YOU—event profs and new planners. Say hello! Let’s do amazing things! x

Events are not for the faint-hearted. They demand long hours, endless problem-solving and a willingness to give everything you’ve got. Yet, as exhausting as it is, there’s nothing quite like seeing everything come together. It’s these moments of connection that make all the challenges worthwhile.

New office, fresh chapter—and still rocking an ocean view! 🌊🎉 I couldn’t wait to share—Event Kit is moving into a brand-new space, and I’m so excited for what’s next! 🚪✨ Fresh ideas, fresh start—let’s go! Tell me, what can you see from your office? (I’ll take ocean views over city traffic any day!)

New event owners have BIG dreams for what the event will be. They’ll say “I want 5000 people to attend in the first year!” As an event consultant, it’s my job to say, that their over ambitious goals will lead to failure. Smaller steps that are quality steps will lead them to success.

Are you planning an event and you feel super stressed? And I’m here to help. Why not ask me a question?! As an event management consultant with a 24 years experience, I know a few things. So I’m putting it out to the Threads community. What do you want to know!? 🥂🎉🎪

All public spaces need event thinking. We all expect that event organisers will plan for thousands of visitors—but what about managers of public spaces like parks and recreation sites? Crowds ALWAYS bring challenges: traffic, safety, and smooth operations. Just. Like. An. Event.

When you work in events, you’re really working in childcare… because it doesn’t matter what the age of the crowd is, you’re feeding them, entertaining them, telling them “Don’t go there!” and generally trying to prevent them from doing something stupid and injuring themselves!

3 things I wish got sorted BEFORE your event planning starts 1) Why we are running the event? 2) Who will be the decision-maker? 3) What’s more important - the budget or the ideas? No doubt, you’ve felt the frustration of dealing with a client or team that hasn’t answered these questions. 😬

I’m about to hop into an annual Kick-Off Event Planning meeting. Here’s how I prep for it as an event management consultant: 1. Re-read the Event Debief 2. Write the WIP Agenda: this keeps us on track and ensures nothing is missed in our meeting. 3. Print a BIG site map
