Everhaven World

🧵 1/23 What is #Everhaven, aka #ProjectDragon? Here is a mega thread about this game, which was cancelled this year in 2024 close to Early Access release. We've reached 20 weeks of #BringBackProjectDragon; that's 5 months! It's been quite a journey. Spread the word! #cancelledgames #cozygames

Once we had the basic red ant melee Buglin design locked, I started iterating on different types of enemy engagement- ranged pheromone casters with living projectiles, lancing orchid mantis pondskimmers, burrowing boulder backed crabthings-

But pets & critters were far from the only weird little guys running around Project Dragon- we had a rogues gallery of enemies to fight as well! We wanted monsters that preserve the cosy vibe of our pastoral starting zone. Buglins came out of that desire- ant goblins here to ruin your picnics!

As far as we know, Forte/Forte Labs has no gain in holding #Everhaven hostage and choosing not to sell the IP. Only I can think of is they may holding it out of spite. But they were willing to sell #FaeFarm back in September 2025. #BringBackProjectDragon Link: www.gamedeveloper.com/business/wha...
