Just watched TrekCulture’s Ups and Downs for ‘Level-Five Transporter Accident’ and, blimey, never seen @seanferrick.bsky.social so frustrated/miffed. Totally get his concerns about what’s to come based on this episode. I personally liked it, but had to turn my brain off. #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds

I get that it’s expensive to create new planets /cultures and the associated sets/CGI landscapes, but Strange New Worlds has kinda become Strange New Shipboard Situations Based On Other TV Shows and Films which is a bit of a shame. #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds

Watched the Dolly Glasto set (she was just so damn nice) and now in the midst of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. All so sad.

Tim Curry was so great. As Frank-N-Furter, as Pennywise in IT, as the concierge in Home Alone 2, as Long John Silver in Muppet Treasure Island and many other screen/voice roles. With Dolly yesterday and all the others we’ve lost so far this year, it’s starting to feel like 2016 all over again.

Weirdly lost sensation in my left leg after going out last night. Sure it’ll be fine but it’s odd…

Back from the quiz and we won which was a nice birthday treat. 🙌 The landlord getting the entire pub to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to me not so much. 😬 Still sad about Dolly too - just the nicest person. 😔

A song I wrote during the pandemic called ‘Cock On A Rock’ (based on a story a friend of mine told me about beach based shenanigans while on holiday) just came on shuffle. I’ve not listened to it in years and…it’s just so bad, but v funny and stupid.

FFS. Don’t try and delete the Apple Music app to free up space/get rid of the massive cached music files - it also deletes all your synced music that you own. 😡 *plugs computer in and resyncs everything*

Surprised that Facebook still haven’t fixed the issue with their iOS app where it stops music playback when you open it (even though there’s no content on screen to warrant it). It’s been going on for years. Reported it as a bug again, but I’m sure they’re too busy mining users’ content for ads.
