Low key debating changing my sona species to something new... OR maybe I just make a new OC entirely?

The thing I like about the lore of the Drazerk too is that they are somewhat shape shifters and have a secondary form. I could make that form a maned wolf and that would keep Gimbal's past canon and let me keep using the leggy form when it makes sense.

My PM and contractor superintendent made an observation today that kinda hurt to hear. We were chatting today and the Super paused, looked at me and commented “What happened? I can’t ready your face anymore.” To which my PM chimed in with “Yeah it’s harder to read you now. You don’t smile anymore.”

They were kinda just joking about it but they’re really not wrong at all. The last month at work has been exhausting and just… a lot. It’s definitely taken a toll on me mentally and I do see the effect it’s had on my demeanor at work. Going to take a little step back and try and reset soon.

Where does the time even go??? How has it already been almost 3 weeks since I went to a bucket list race and had one of the best weekends I’ve had in a really long time?? Laguna Seca is officially on my happy place list now!

Just booked my ticket to IMSA at Laguna Seca! I am so excited to see this race in person! It’s such a legendary circuit and race, and it’s been on my wishlist for so long to watch a race there. It’s been a couple years since I’ve been to a race. Pic from 1000 miles of Sebring a few years back.

This... is going to be an interesting year for me. I leave on Friday for Vandenberg Space Force Base where I will be working, for the next 3 months at a minimum, on getting SLC-3 over the finish line and ready to support Vulcan launches starting Q2 this year.

And tbh I would even love to leave the country for a few years. Maybe go work for some Aerospace company in Europe for a while. Finally get out and see the world. Definitely not to escape the degrading state of the union...

Im honestly excited to be going out there, but I also know its likely to be more work and more demanding than anything I've done to date, so I am a little nervous.

So I thought I had a god idea of what I wanted to do over the next few years, but my friend just got a job offer that has me reconsidering everything. As much as I want to work in human space flight and make that jump soon, the compensation package for what my friend just hired on to is insane.

So now I face a dilemma. Do I pursue HSF and a masters like I originally planned on, here in Denver, or do I follow the money for now and go to Washington for this potential opportunity?
