SUMMARY: The paint on the metal headband has peeled off, and the exposed metal is giving me electric shocks... Why is the headband on my headphones under voltage... Although, it's more likely that the paint peeled off precisely because of the voltage on the headband.

So, I have headphones that I use every day, and a while ago I noticed that when I put my arm behind my head, my forearm starts to tingle. A visual inspection revealed nothing, and I stopped paying attention until today.
