3 days, 35 researchers, 4 climate challenges! During our #Hackathon in Hamburg 🇩🇪, researchers explored heatwave circulation patterns, trained climate AI, downscaled climate data and used explainable AI to uncover climate drivers, turning advanced data infrastructure into new insights. #EXPECT

📰 New media spotlight for #EXPECT! Pedro Roldán-Gómez from Barcelona Supercomputing Center) featured in Süddeutsche Zeitung, explaining new research on why #Europe is warming faster than any other continent and how cleaner air may be influencing summer heat #extremes. @bsc-cns.bsky.social

🌍 EXPECT is well represented at #S2S2D2026! A large number of our researchers are in Reading 🇬🇧 this week, presenting their work on climate prediction, extreme events, and machine learning. 🤝 Looking forward to a week of scientific exchange and new connections! #EXPECT #ClimateScience

Greetings from Lisbon, Portugal 👋🇵🇹 The EXPECT #GeneralAssembly has officially kicked off! Today’s agenda focuses on Research Themes 1–4, project management updates & other key topics. Curious about our 4 Research Themes? Learn more: expect-project.eu/about/ Stay tuned! #HorizonEU #HorizonEurope

We’re glad to share that registrations are now open for the 3rd #I4C Climate #Adaptalab in Bergen! As EXPECT’s sister project, we’re excited to see participants co-develop policy briefs supporting climate adaptation decision-making across Europe 🌍 Registrations are open until 15 May 👇
