BIO: Carter Amelia Davis is an independent filmmaker, writer, and visual artist based in Minneapolis. She’s developed a cult following for her funny and unsettling animations, which often explore social commentary through dream logic narratives.

…She works primarily in mixed media and photo collage, and has a particular interest in how it feels to be online. Her visual style is self-taught and the result of many happy accidents. Her work should ideally make you laugh and feel like you need to take a shower or something.

Cheers from Expo’s annual board retreat! We’re spending the weekend talking all things Expo, including Vol. XII: “Trip,” the Expo Anthology, #ExpoPresents events, #ShareYourVoice! workshops, and pie in the sky lit mag goals! Excited to share it all with you!

My 100th published story. So happy it's a story I love in a title I love. And the judge's review (in comments) overjoyed me. 3 years ago, if you'd told me I'd have 100 stories in the world -90 of which I love- i wouldn't have believed it. Deep thanks to the beta readers & editors who helped (1 of 2)
